This is strictly a petition, the cause is “move the BMPT and the BMPT-72” to top tier.
Both the BMPT and the BMPT-72 have no place sitting at 10.7 they are blatantly overpowered, the BMP-2M is at 10.3 and they are not alike in any aspect. The BMPTs are more armored they have a crewless turret and yeah i know the BMP- 2M has APFSDS and better ATGMs but regardless the BMPTs are way more better and way too overpowered for 10.7. If your argument is “the BMPT has worse ammo and ATGMS” and thats why the developers placed it at 10.7 then you need help because the BMPTs are as competent at toptier. Why is the EBRC at 11.0 then, is has weaker armor if any, it has slower firing cannon but pens a bit more and it has F&F missiles, NONE of those matter if its driving around the map because you can instantly one shot it, BMPTs on the other hand it will take half of the team and 7+ APFSDS shots to kill at least one. BMPTs have no place at 10.7 they need to go up in BR at least to top tier, they are ruining every game and the stats prove this right. Queues for russia ar 300+ players long on almost every region.
FR they should atleast be at 12.0 or even 12.7
And not just that. It’s sometimes easier to kill a top-tier tank with 10.3-10.7 tank than this BMPT joke. I guess developers spent not much time doing QA stuff, or it was their intention. Anyway, this should be stopped. The 10.0-11.0 bracket is unplayable.
11.3/11.0 IS PERFECT to BMPT-72 :)
Give them the supposed apfsds and move them to 12.7. Anything to have less players suffer. But realistically I’m happy to keep increasing their br by any amount till balance is achieved. Even if that means slowly raising their br as Gaijin squeezes every penny from russian players.

sure. When you see one hull down, just turn around and find another target. And even if you see one on flat ground, pray that you shoot the LFP before they remove your barrel and tracks and somehow squeeze their apds through your armor. Pray that you’re not a light vehicle as well.

How much front ufp armor they got for being a light tank?
ERA, lots of ERA. And ufp is the worst place to shoot. And don’t shoot the turret because you have to knock out both belts since they are considered external, taking out electronics doesn’t stop guns from firing, and there is alot of empty space there, and shooting the missils won’t kill them. LFP and side and back is where to shoot. But side has spall liners. So only LFP and back. Do not aim for drivers hatch, that is volumetric hell.
It’s not a light tank; it’s an IFV, like the Namer. And don’t ask me why the Namer has low armor.
