its very strange that BMPT-72 (premium one) have commander thermal sights and Spall liner and BMPT didn’t
And they gave it APDS and only 4 ATGM
if i’m not going to BUY the premium one
i have to use the weakest 30MM ammo in 10.3 and only 4 ATGM
and it don’t have Scout ability so that makes it harder to grind ?
(although it have supply crate but i’m pretty sure before you reload it you already dead)
You can, and if you don’t want to is up to you, BMP-T and BMPT-72 is specifically a support vehicle, reason why it is labelled as anti-tank vehicle, merely because the spawn points will be cheaper and you have some other benefits as anti-tank vehicle (ammo box), considering that, as it’s represented in-game only one cannon will be able to use APDS-T belts. Honestly, despite the armor differences, I felt like BMP-T will perform much better which also shares a more compact design, slighly worse armor but better survivability.
Also they gave us a BMPT with the old turret that is not in service anymore, the BMPT should have a researchable upgrade to mount the modern turret and the UBH armor package, the BMPT-72 is mainly intended for the export market.
Erm… yes you can?
It plays the same as something like the Namer (which is a whole BR bracket higher) with 4 amazing ATGMs that you can fire on the move.
Relikt at 10.3 is overmatch for 70% of the shells at the BR
I really hope that Gaijin adds the UBH kit to the BMPT, even though I bought the premium version and I really hope they add APFSDS and update it to 10.7 or 11.0. APDS is quite uncomfortable to use on it; in frontal combat, you’re entirely dependent on missiles.
I’m fine with the change from BR to APFSDS, since its armor is very good. I wanted to bring BMPT and BMPT 72 to 12.7, but with APDS it wouldn’t be ideal.
