All the nerfs on the vehicle are in fact historical changes and not just things being made to weaken the tank on no grounds. In fact it could get a lot worse if they were willing to keep updating it to be more accurate to irl.

It literally has one of the most insane survivability’s I’ve ever seen. Countless 120mms into the side, on fire and burnt to a crisp 3 times, nothing. 120mm right into the gun, nothing. Round disappeared cause I hit a stowage box. It just spams back until you’re dead. Also no it can’t fight APFSDS, same gun doesn’t mean that at all.
Also wanting it to beat and be on par with top MBTs as an autocannon just proves the exact mindset of BMPT players. You simply can’t use this utter death machine, not our fault.

It’s almost as if :
- There’s more player at the Brs where BMPT can be found
- T58 sits in a tree that doesn’t get preferential treatment every tuesday (Pantsir, manpads, KH38, LMUR, absence of turret basket, Soyuz)
T58 is more of a one of OP vehicle you get from time to time in every tree (Turm III, Gripen at introduction, Rafale, T58). Notice how they are all scattered in Br and trees unlike russian additions ?

The IRIS-T outperformed the original Pantsir from the moment it was added, and it still does. It’s true that it isn’t on the level of the Pantsir-SM-SV, but we also have the SAMP/T, which is just as effective. I agree that the Pantsir-SM-SV is currently the strongest SPAA in the game, but saying that the Pantsir-S1 has remained the best since the release of the IRIS-T and SAMP/T just doesn’t make sense.
Yes, it’s still the fastest, but after the introduction of multi-vehicle SAM systems, it clearly isn’t as effective anymore. Of course, that’s assuming the SPAA player isn’t completely clueless and can actually press one button to shoot down an Kh-38.
F-14 at launch with the AIM-54, or the Iranian version with Fakours.
