So does like, every minor nation. No complaints come when only US has two squadron helicopters.

It’s a unmanned turret with 4 decent missiles, especially at that BR.
30mm cannons on BMD-3, BMP-2 and so fort, use dual feeding system since the cold war…It was not the design choice for the BMPT because…well I don’t work for them so I will not pretend that I know. But the lack of knowledge about how a dual feeder works is just fantasy.

this vehicle is going to underperform in uptiers to put it lightly. its essentially a bmp2 with better missiles 2 full BRs higher. so far the only light tank (autocannon at least) RU has thats capable in an uptier is only the BMP2m. would be nice to have a capable second autocannon with darts at 10.3. hell give it darts and put it up to 11.3. but once the missiles run out youre essentially DOA esp against vehicles with spall liners

the bmpt is just a bmp2m with 500mm armor. same speed/ same fire power but a bit more since it got extar belt of weak shells.
as in it should be. but its not. its missing APFSDS ammo … 2m has darts not just sabot … not to mention Kornets vs the BMPTs atakkas

yeah that why i am insisting on firing both barrel at te same time. i am okay with short burst of 3-5 sec limit

still MUCH less firepower than a BMP2M … thee atakkas are nowhere near as good as the kornets
I actually like them more as they are much faster and the penetrations is more than enough at this br
You can fire both barrels just need to press 2 different buttons or appoint 2 firing commands to one button.
Would be nice if it ended up being a wheeled chassis. The BTR-82AT could have been it, but for some reason it needed to be at 9.0 where there’s already plenty of choice.

yeah that keybind doesnt work for the 2nd barrel in dev yet. ive had that bind set for a loooong time now haha

Very surprised the more modern BMPT doesn’t have APFSDS. Seems like a waste to have two identical vehicles at the same br.

i am sure they added the first version/ prototype the one we have now in the tree.
but maybe in the future we might get the upgraded one
not to mention how bloated the Russia 10.3 line up is getting, they are going to need to add more crew slots at this rate. 2x T-72Bs, 2 SPAAs, T-72AV, 2S38, BMP-2M, T-80UD, the 2S25M is 10.0 but usually goes in the 10.3 lineup, now 2 BMPTs… that’s going to be 11 ground vehicles in the lineup & only 10 crew slots and that’s not even counting CAS/ CAP or helis
