wait i dont understand, so is the left gun in game useless? you cant fire from both at the same time?
one gets APDS and the other gets SAP belts so basically yea
they can but for a short time, like 5-7 sec
why did they design it this way this is lowk useless the 2nd gun is just there for cool factor lol
even when you bring 2 different belts, it just switches the belt on the right gun so the left gun in my testing is straight up impossible to fire

so they dont waste time changing belt mid fight, one he for infantry, other for building/armored aps and atgm for strong mbt

not being able to fire i think is a bug as i couldnt get it to even though i have keybinds for secondary guns (it also wasnt working on TOG 2 so may be a universal issue)
not sure on if its just a game convention or actual design choice of the BMPT but it does suck that its not firing both with the same belt at the same time like a falcon or similar

also, i assume this would be the final upgrade bmpt? terminator 2 turret on the t90 hull? or is the bmpt72 we have now in game still better

yeah that the bmpt final upgrade. with side era kit, armor, and fire control.
sadly its the evolution of the current terminator we have in the tech tree. so its not in game

That’s fine, but has NOTHING to do with the BMPT, so stop de-railing the thread. This tread of filling every new vehicle thread with “This is un-fair because X-nation doesn’t have Y-vehicle” is getting really annoying. Yes I agree minor nations need more attention… But this is not the place to argue about it.

I don’t think there is any since I’m pretty sure the BMPT-72 was supposed to be a conversion for existing T-72 hulls to be made in to BMPTs marketed primarily for export

10.3 with only APDS ammo is wild. if its going to be placed at this BR it needs to have a dart. IE cv9040 with darts that can UPF most MBTs at 9.7 …
