BMPT/72 Should not be 10.3

it is far from Immune for tanks my friend. the M24 (TL) came was given out as twitch drop vehicle like 5 days ago. the KD difference is simply based on my playstyle with that vehicle I pump it full of backups so ofcourse I will do better an average with it but cant you accept that I am playing actually good with a vehicle because it cant be only the vehicle because on paper the BMPT is mediocre at best the only thing it has going for it is the frontal armor everything else is very poor like idk why you accusing me of having ulterior motives

must be bias why do some vehicles get this modeled as a belt while others are jsut a big box if it was actually a box why doesnt it have armor values?

BMPT would be very easy to dispatch if the ammo weakspot it has would function properly, if they do model it as having pseudo IM by only making a portion of the ammo belt detonate then that would be unfair to other vehicles that use IM and should be put up in BR.

If the belt(s) is/are destroyed, literally nothing happens

You do not even lose a singular round of ammo and just became more survivable because the belt (in the turret-superstructure*) is gone permanently (until you respawn and maybe also if you replenish but I am not sure about the latter)

well it seems to be a weird vehicle as the feeding ammo is detached from the magazine in the hull while being an autoloader i dunno if that historical or not but when they fix the ammo bug it wont matter anyway because nomatter which amm you shoot the tank goes boom

Yeah, so i’m really hoping this is just a bug and not intentional, shooting a BMPT’s ammo and seeing a blowout ammo fire while it literally loses no ammo and can still fire is just mental.

It’s because they allocated the ammunition to the ammo-stowage’s dm inside the crew-compartment and separated the belts entirely for whatever reason.
Not spaghetti-code per se, just plain incompetence.

So I’ve tried this a few times now and it rarely works. Possibly partly because the Ajax’s spalling is pathetic (shock-Gaijin undertunes a British vehicle?!), but also because it’s a tiny target. All the while, the BMPT mulches anything it looks at with those cannons and missiles. It’s disgustingly broken.

The blow-out fire comes from the centre of the vehicle btw, i.e. the main stowage.

The crew is literally getting cooked alive whenever the flame occurs.

25-76mm APFSDS all have the same damage-preset for spalling, this has nothing to do with the particular rod. Also, Jaguar uses the same gun and APFSDS round aswell.

I believe its an attempt at a ready rack maybe I dont know how the autoloader works but from my understanding of looking at the xray it looks like the two feeding belts are being fed from the autoloader which takes ammo from what is in the basket and maybe allowy you to select certain ammo to got somewhere? and by spaghetti code I mean that there may be some limitaitons perhaps like how certian things are classified in the DM model and the unit file?

I literally dumped 40 rounds into a 2S38 without it dying because it seems to be a dice roll whether its ammo actually explodes. Doesn’t seem right to me.

How you survive fire without surviving the ammo explotion before?
