BMPT/72 Should not be 10.3

Now developers even dared to BUFF THEM in recent micro-update by improving their survivability even more when their granade launchers or atgms are hit! Nonsense! I sincerely declare that i will insta quit all games against Russia 10.3 when I play any of my 9.3-9.7-10.0 vehicles. I will not be ashamed of doing so against OP hordes of BMPTs that do not belong to 10.3 (relative to say Vilkas, Strf9040 variants, Freccia, etc). I will continue to quit 10.3 games until BMPTs get higher in BR.

Or just dont play 9.3-10.3 so ussr players wait in queque.

I will avoid playing these brs. But Khalid is one of my favourite tanks, in fact, I love it so much, so I will play it from time to time but not when it gets to full uptier. Also I am planning to gring squad Hunter and use german 9.7-10.0 setup to have fun, but that’s long in the future. And I am looking forward to playing swedish light tanks soon, actively grinding them now. Hopefully BMPTs will be moved higher in br quite soon.

Not until gaijin stop getting people buying them. Prob after christmass sales.

So for one) Please read my exact statement again. I quite literally and specifically refered to TT/Premium vehicles with “identical” Premium/TT counterparts.
The BMP-2 is also not anywhere near being comparable to the BMP-2M capability or BR-wise. The other two BMP’s are both TT, and also vastly different from the BMP-2’s, so I dont see how they’re relevant here.

And two) Despite of this the statistics do differ more significantly than they may appear, as even “slight” (0.11KpS difference is often halfway between the worst and best performing vehicle of a rank) are very telling; The sample-size in the BMP-2M’s case is almost 100 million battles, thus even a seemingly low difference of ± 0.1 KpS or 0.15K/D is extremely significant.

To put this into perspective, for e.g. the KpS value to increase by “just” 0.1, >900.000 kills would be necessary, without an increase in the amount of spawns.

Then again, this is where the common distribution comes into play again, i.e. the idea that the higher a vehicles player-count is, the closer it will be to the average, or slightly below the average (as there are more “bad” players than there are “good” players at either extreme). This can also be seen by looking at regular global statistics, where this exact distribution becomes evident.

Now, regarding the BMD’s, I once again remind you that I said identical vehicles. BMD-4M and BMD-4/4M2 are not identical. BMD4M2 being the worst out of the 3 due to the BMP-3 type autoloader. BMD-4M has better power-to-weight ratio than BMD-4 and was artifically buffed for quite a while;

The suspension was already lowered by default, even if the player never manually adjusted it, giving it approx 9° of actual gun-depression (I have images of this on my PC, I’ll grab them when I get back).

This has less to do with the premium vehicle having “better players” and more with it being arguably better/easier to play.

And now you’re dismissing Statshark as a source. Neat.

Granted, that should’ve been from the start, but you know… cross analysis is hard.

You will never find out if a vehicle is OP by looking at Statshark or Thunderskill.
Thunderskill even has a massive disclaimer not to use its stats in vehicle arguments, because that’s not what those statistics show.
The most OP vehicles in the game don’t show major indicators on Statshark.

Go ahead and look up P51H5NA, Jagdpanzer IV, F-18A [both of them], and find out how people are performing in these objectively OP vehicles.
You’ll quickly find out that balanced vehicles on Statshark out-perform the OP vehicles in the hundreds in KDR, rewards, and so forth.

Let alone the useless stat that is KPS [which mine is average in the vehicles I primarily PVP in]. KDR is barely useful, and that’s only useful in one specific situation: When looking at tanks of a like-category on one player’s statcard, and comparing the KDR to other tanks of the same category that player plays.
Otherwise KDR is a very specific skill stat that is part of the game, but in reality the major part of the game is positioning and aiding team for victory advantage.

It ate 3 DM33 side shot of my CV90105 which one of them reliably kills T series tanks. No damage is done.My suggestion is that give its apfsds and then send it to top tier which is also called hell.It will find something to kill (i am pretty sure). There were some people saying that BMPT will not fit the War Thunder current situation 3 years ago.

As for the BMP2M defenders,it can be killed more easily than BMPT.

Anything can work in War thunder if you give a crazy number of concessions.

It cannot fire a dart the same way as the BMP2 and 3 cannot fire Darts.

Or directly move to top tier?Imagine HSTV-L is at top tier while this vehicle is at 10.3 destroying BR?Wait it is true.I imagine russian win rates increased to %90 percent after BMPTs.Everytime I play against Russia and there are BMPTs,they destroy everything and start to maincamp.

Win rates won’t indicate what you think they will.
What you’ll want to keep an eye on is KDR by February.
Once a wide range of skill has gotten the chance to play the vehicle.

t to keep an eye on is K
[/quote] KDRS are 4+

This is the only real way to cause change, by simply boycotting and refusing to play against these vehicles.

I wish it can work but it will not

Please do not hold opinions when you cannot even bother to see if you’re correct before posting. Maybe this game isn’t for you.

Yesterday,3 tanks shot to one BMPT and he took that rounds like nothing happened. It stayed there shooting back 30 seconds straight.

BMPT still has the same LFP and a similarly sized drivers hatch weakspot as the other T-series, or did these weakspots get removed from the other T-series?

If you knew how to read, you would know the problem.3 side shots to no damage

Except I wasn’t even replying to anything you were talking about? Hell I wasn’t even replying to a reply to your message.

Just gollow the chain, it was about the frontal weakspots of the BMPT vs M774.

So this is ironic, guess not too suprising though.
