Top-tier is Tier VIII which includes vehicles from 10.7 - 12.7.
Players can interpret Top Tier however they like. I will continue to use Gaijin’s interpretations which is 12.7 exclusively.

“Exterior Fuel Tanks” do not cause any damage to the crew, modules, etc. if they start burning after being hit, all of BMPT’s fuel-tanks are considered as external.
All of BMPT72’s frontal fuel-tanks are also considered as external, the only exception being the one behind the ammo.

It belongs at 12.7 period. what you have to remember is at 11.7 it will drag every 10.7 premium and alike up because sooooooooo many are playing the BMPT, it will literally create a black hole again in the MM.
The other issue is at 10.7 many tanks still lack ammo to reliably post pen the thing at even shallow angles of attack thanks to relik ERA and a T90M hull eating the majority of the shell.
They also need to imo remove the total bs that heavy ERA does with causing shells to “change direction” as this often leads to further penetration beyond the ERA to be scuffed or again not have enough post pen to get through the hull, spall liner and the total bs fuel tanks that surround the ammo in the bottom. god forbid actual MBTs get fuel tanks that do this cough Abrams.
