Still haven’t figured out if the Terminator 3 is the BMPT model 2017 or the Armata BMPT… seems to be the Armata but what is the T15 then… ? also BMPTish or just another heavy AFV?
armata bmpt like the attempted ifv armata? or am i missing something else
bmpt 3 i just a name peolpe use to not mix with the ( your bmpt 1).
also t15 armata is APC / IFV / TSFV

somebody needs to make an index of all the different BMPTs and Armata variants. Whoever is coming up with these names and classifications needs to be put down
yeah it is the T-15 then, too bad the thing has absolutely horrible armor, i found out thanks to a photo of one without ERA
only ever seen the turret armor layout of the T14 Armata. No idea about the T15
As I spaded the new Jaguar ATGM carrier I also noticed that TOW-2A (tandem warhead) failed to penetrate the simplest ERA. Magach, T-Tanks…all.
I guess the anti-ERA effect of tandem warheads has been switched off. Similar to some spall liners which almost don’t line spall anymore (like 2A7).

hull, as far as i know russia decided to move whole powerpack in front to fit the crew on the back like normal ifv’s issue rised with the fact that the powerpack its a cube(including transmission) wich apparently took all the front space and in order to put the new ERA it needs huge spacings and that’s what we see behind the ERA and the reason why its so angled
Im almost sure that was never even switched on in the first place

funniest part is the fact that the only difference is that the powerpack was rotated a 180 degrees, its like they paint cropped the front of the hull and put the back on the front

have to change my post again… f***. So the Terminator 1 was not used by russia themselves but was sold as an export vehicle. The first one they properly adopted is the model 2017.
