I unlocked the BMPT today and I must say, I did not know the situation was this horrible.
I think, quite frankly, that anyone who comes to this forum or in any other platform and starts defending this vehicle is either a dishonest person that wants to keep abusing this unfair and broken addition for their own benefit or there’s a massive skill issue at play.
Either way there’s no room for debate, this thing is one of the tankiest vehicles I have ever played, it just shreds anyone that challenges it and requires no brain power to be used, the most adequate step should be to retire the vehicle, rework the model and reintroduce it at top tier where it belongs.
Been trying to grind some SL with the soviet 10.3 lineup. Safe to say, the 10.3/10.7 matchmaker currently has some issues.
Constantly getting small matches, like theres not enough people in the queue, and not once ive seen russia vs russia in the past few days, which is outright sussy.
Anyone not playing BMPT is thus competing for kills within much smaller pool of players, made all the more smaller by people straigt up ODLing en masse (not that I blame them). On top of that, anyone not playing BMPT gets the short end of the stick because the positions one would hold normally are made obsolete by BMPT just straight up rushing past them, annihilating anything in its path.
These last two comments, along with many others of course, show the extent of the problem. It warrants a detailed response to the community since it is having such an extreme impact. Instead there has only been very minimal vehicle changes that have in no way changed the overall problem this ridiculous vehicle portrayal has introduced.
Again, their actions in releasing this vehicle into the live environment and their lackluster response to the significant problem its introduction has created for many speaks volumes.
We need a main webpage dev announcement for this, not just a simple comment buried in these forums. We have neither.
10.7 is just an Joke for it, like make it 11.0 AND fix these wierd things like the ammo not getting removed in an Blowout/crew not getting hurt because External ammo, remove the Arty, and lets see than again…
But this, is just crazy…
Keep it at its BR. I only play top tier and last thing I want is a spam vehicle that takes out barrels in a sec while you’re trying to aim and can’t see anything because it’s you point and spam. I finished 3 nations and was planning to do Germany next but forgot how annoying going up against BMP’s in general are. At least normal BMP’s you can pen but that bmpt is by far the most annoying vehicle in my opinion even worse then helicopter spam lumr missles and leave.
Made substantially worse by the fact that players are probably also actively avoiding the BR which a Terminator appears in, since it doesn’t take much more advanced of two synapses to see that the Terminator is OP and, failing that, isn’t fun to fight against whatsoever.
Yup, researched Booker and Ajax just to realize that they are pointless at this moment.
I guess things will change when Gaijin realize that people who has two brain cells stopped buying high tier premiums coz they don’t wanna face BMPT, things like KVT, Leopards, Challenger, etc.
That’s something i would do, if i want to grind top tier i would grind with tech tree vehicles, i certainly would not give them money just to be bullied by BMPTs.
I did not say stopped but i assume that sale of those tanks will drop i am sure, situation will be even worse when most of the players get their hands on a tech tree version, it’s still new and a lot of players did not researched it or bought it.
Just wait and see when in a month or two hordes of BMPT start to wreck everything in current BR.
Like someone here said it, even now there are more and more matches with less players at this BR.
