The funniest way to beat the Russian MBTs is to counter rush them and contest aggressive positions, but you need to be either good, brave or stupid enough (I know I at least got the supid part down) and you need a mobile MBT.
The funny thing is because a lot of Russian players just don’t expect it, but that might be a bit too far off topic.

I’ve not seen such a dereliction of responsibility in game management and design in over 15 years. I don’t know what the game managers are doing, but they need to stop it and move this goddam thing up to 11.7 at least.

I said I wouldn’t come back, but oddly enough, they don’t want the BMPT’s ammunition to detonate the vehicle (even though this rarely happens in battle). They want APFSDS ammunition for it, but without increasing the BR, keeping it at 10.7. On top of that, it seems that they want the vehicle to be considered normal for withstanding 2 to 3 TADEN missiles without penetrating its armor in the same place.
Get ready, the situation will get even worse if the Russian developers accept these conditions for the vehicle and implement them definitively. (Because until then, it seems like a stroke of luck.)

I use that tactic when I’m playing with Leclerc,Type-10 or VT-4’s.
They get shocked and can’t react most of the time Xd.

One strength of the Ajax is the hull is immune to Russian 30mm apds.
But yeah Gaijin have taken every measure possible to make a meme tank good. It’s a tank support vehicle not a tank

Not all of the hull, the air intakes are way to easy to hit and pen and usually allow the round straight into the crew compartment. But Ajax is so tall and they aim for the gun and just delete you regardless.

M1A1, Type 90, and Chally 2 are definitely still better than the T-80U / UK even with their reload buff.

I guess side-aspect L27A1 isn’t enough.
Did you miss the part where it says autocannon? I consistently fight BMPTs in the CV9040s and CV9030 Mk.IV and have not once been able to kill it with the autocannons destroying the ammo. However sometimes a large caliber gun (120mm, 125mm etc etc) will take out the BMPT if you hit the ammo chute.

Hmm Its also immune to Mavericks and Brimstones. Every weapon just fails. Gajin should redesign it, it should be actually possible to kill it.
This just highlights everything that’s wrong with ERA. The fundamentals of it are just extremely broken and jank and are due for a reimplementation. This tank has so many layers of armor and RNG BS that it is borderline impossible to reliably one shot this thing.

That’s exactly what I’ve been saying, not only that 3BM60 goes through my armor like butter but when I dare to shoot an OP T80BVM nothing seems to work, Russian vehicles have gone on too long being the most OP.

- Meet BMPT frontally
- Shoot BMPT in its weak spot
3.b Your shot somehow penetrated BMPT - BMPT was hit in the driver, gunner, ammunition, and engine
- You get 3 missiles to the face in less than 2 seconds after you hit that BMPT
- You die

Even hits in hull ammo cannot kill that russian propaganda junk
