At that angle the tank should be dead like the rest, if it survives without any damage, it do not deserve that br, and face more powerful rounds br.
i dont have to explain my guy, i dont make the game, idk how your round do nothing while i am using a DM13
like this ?
this is a regular occurance by many others, not just me. So trying to defend the BMPT by saying “its easy to kill” and showing a shot that clearly refutes your point goes to show how overly survivable the BMPT is for its BR. it should be 11.7+ at the very least for it to even be any bit balanced in its current iteration, as you can be fully broadside to it and the round volumetric becuz of both ERA, Spall liners, and fuel tanks
wtf never defended it, always said its suppose to go up.
how am i defending it if i show you a full video of it.
if you cant have a convo, dont get in. because if you make a statement and its proven false by a video non-edited. just to come after and simply say i am defending it as a excuse. dont waste your time.
since you made such a statement, prove it or your a liar.
“killing it with DM13 Aint that hard.” = you are implying it doesnt need to be moved up, as its ‘easy’ to kill. Thus the accusation you are defending the vehicle
never said, simply show you how its done and where are the weakspot.
br of the bmpt is a whole other subject, mixing things up wont give you good results.
it need to go up that not negociable.
You do realize people know where the weakspot is right, pointing out weakspots is the obvious, its the fact the tank is way overpowered and stupidly survivable despite weakspots. its a null point to say the equivalent of “aim better”
Never said but you need to consider your implications. People will get the wrong idea.
good then
if you knew the weak spot, why did you shot upper side instead of low side ?
it take 2 sec to think its better to shot lower side since there is not volumetrics and a solid kill with the ammo.
or even better, simply shoot the front side tracks. that a weak spot of every tank of top tier have.
never told it to you and i never mention the BR on my last few post.
putting the blame on the player for the game dev volumetrics problems is simply none sense.
said it many time, i dont make the games, i cant fix it. he came asking for : hey surely you can show how easy is to pen with 580mm.
show him a clear video, there was already a video. that 2 video. and he still accuse me of volumetrics and telling me i defend the bmpt ?
simply excuses
my shot was in fact lower side, rewatch it.
A clear video of what, you happening to kill bmpts? Ive killed many BMPT’s, but does that mean volumetric and the normal ‘weakspots’ are in fact not really all that good because of fuel tanks and forementioned volumetric? You posting videos and basically saying “see, i can kill a bmpt, ur clearly just bad” implies that it isnt a fault of the tank, but purely the players skill in not killing bmpts, of which is not the case. You are spending so much time trying to find reasons to blame the player for poor shot placement or any other excuse rather than just accepting the fact that cherrypicked clips of you killing bmpts doesnt prove that the bmpt isnt fundamentally poorly modelled.
Anyway, they could probably put the BMPT near or at top tier and if doesn’t do well they could always give it the APFSDS
agreed, 11.7+ at the very least
I mean they already knew that this could happen: ka -50 precedent.
If we are looking for a similar situation with a vehicle not premium: the 2S6 was added alone no counterpart for other nations. USSR has got the possibility to spam CAS without any competition for really long time…
Yep, agreed. Enocuntering them in GSB in the Challenger 2 wasnt too bad, still annoying as hell, but at least they die when they are suppose to, but in the Challenger 1s… its far less consistant. If they only faced top tier rounds, they would at least be partially mitigated, which is why I think a 11.7+ BR is needed for them
I’m pretty sure its some sort of bug where the dart just fizzles out of existence after hitting the ERA, spall liner then the fuel tank it touches the ammo and disappears, just hit the exact same shot and had the exact same result…
(Ik this is a late response but wanted to throw in a mention)
I don’t remember correctly 100% what it was but there was a short period where when APFSDS rounds hit ERA and penned T90M the APFSDS round would do spins inside and lose all spalling, saw clips circulating and replicated it myself, also saw it happen a couple times in matches, now I wonder if Gaijin messed with that line of code a little
Is this a record number of replies to 1 thread in X time on the forum?
I mean sure, but couple of things to note:
A) you had to shoot same place twice. First shot removed the ERA and fuel tank, and only second got through
B) youre in tank with 4 second reload
C) you caught the terminator in position where it couldnt fire back one you kept driving forward so that there was a rock between you and him, allowing you to reload while denying him 4 seconds where he could fire at you.
Were it any other situation where you didnt caught said BMPT with, as they say, his pants down, I doubt youd live to tell the tale, seeing as you still nearly died if the BMPT wasnt firing onto god knows where when you peeked him second time. And even if you didnt caught BMPT with his pants down, while you might have gotten shot off thanks to 4 second reload, not every tank has that luxury.
So I hope this was meant to be played off as a joke rather than geniune attempt at downplaying the effectivness of BMPT.
