I say that you fucking never played.First they can shoot 4 of their missiles simultaneously in panic.They can kill even without giving no reaction time.Autocannons of that thing can disable every component easily from front.You can not react.I saw 8 of them in the same match.Instant lose.I started to play russia just because i dont want to see enemy BMPT.If there is more than one,the game last only 1 or 2 minutes.One BMPT ate 5 shots of me(eventhough it is M830 HEAT,i hit without ERA parts )and there was two guys shooting.I remember that Spookston said BMPT will not be good addition 3 years ago.Watch the video and you will see why

You saying “it has weakspots git gud” is the same as me saying that about the 2A7. Just because something has weakspots and is killable doesnt automatically mean its sitting at an appropiate BR.

Bruh, like i said before, the main problem here is not “armor”, but it’s autocanon. And all autocanon in WT ( WT dont have any “reality” elements ) has huge advantage. All tanks with autocanons are too good, or almost useless. The same problem is with BMPT.

105/120 mm too difficult to pen a bmpt frontally, almost impossible in hot situations. Such a small weakspot even from a closer view.

Top tier DM53 has a little more ease at pennetrating it. But as you can see not much difference.

At least has some % to go through the ERA block, not like early 120mm or late 105mm rounds.

Only way to kill this its with a perfer driver hatch shot or lower plate.

Yeah you can try to ammo rack the 30mm rounds, but still you could get very unlucky with that.

Now lets do the viceversa, with the bmpt shooting the challenger shall we?

The autocannon is annoying yes but theres better ones even at russian 10.3. Its not the reason why people think the BMPT is broken. That would be the 12.3 tank chassis the unmanned turret without internal ammo belt sits on

You are completing missing the point though.

Yes all Autocanon tanks are good. But all can usually be killed with a single shot anywhere.

The only tank in game with both top tier MBT armour AND an autocanon is the BMPT.

BMP, Puma, Ajax, CV90, any of these come round the corner, you can usually fire and kill it, especially in a vehicle of the same class. In the BMPT… in a MBT with a good enough shell you have a fraction of the second to nail a tiny weakspot and pray it works. In an IFV… J out.

That is the problem. To pretend the BMPT is just like any other IFV/AFV is just intentionally being misleading

yeas and no - 2S38 has slower rate of fire, so give u chance to react.

BMPT problem is, it can’t be balanced in WT. You have 2 choices there - if u set it higher, probably make it useless. If you stay - will be above average. I use BMPT a lot at 13.0 set, and there is typicall troll tank - when i have nothing more to get, i get BMPT ( enemies uses then light tanks etc ). Sometimes u can do something fun with it, but mostly u are free frag for MBT - ofc, if your enemy dont panic when he sees BMPT xD

I could not agree more.BMP2M is annoying to deal with it but it is easy to kill.

It literally has the same hull and ERA config as the T-72B3 and T-90M respectively.

And unlike those, it has an unmanned turret that is very hard to disable… At least with either of those other tanks you can fairly easily destroy barrel or gun breach.

1. Thats not even true thanks to the ass ammo the puma has and the BMPTs relict side
2. If you get into a flank position in a puma against a BMPT you could literally give me anything else and it would be the same result.
