BMPT/72 BR Topic

whoah whoah. Hold on there.

Soviets having to aim for weakspots? Now that would be unfair on the Soviets.

Whatever man your just having a hard time so much that you just saying nonsense.

Take a break

Okay. I’ve done a cross analysis.
M4 Jumbo 75 is 2.0 BRs above 3.7 M4s, and 2.3 above the arguably under-BR’d M4s.

M4 Jumbo 76 is 1.3 BRs above M4 76.

IS-3 is 2.0 BRs above KV-122 while having 120% more armor.
And IS-2 1944 is 1.3 BRs above KV-122 while having 50% more armor.

Matlida is 1.3 BRs above A-13, and 1.7 above reserve.

KV-220 is 1.0 BR above KV-85 while having ~25% more armor.

At minimum I’m seeing 1.3, and at maximum I’m seeing 2.0 or 2.3.
With this said… Let’s look at BMPT.

BMP-3 is 9.3 with no armor and similar weapons.

BMPT has a massive armor upgrade over BMP-3, and is up to 80% superior to Namer 30 in protection.
1.3 higher is 10.7 where it is currently.
2.0 higher is 11.3.
And at the most arguable BR is 11.7.

With this evidence of previous armor upgrades while retaining same weapons, 11.3 BR is a reasonable expectation to have.
With 11.0 looking to be an obvious change with this evidence.

So while I had no opinion on the BMPT outside of 10.7 minimum being necessary prior to this evidence, I now have this evidence to supply validity to 11.3 claims.

Edit fixed a wording error: Accidentally typed “extreme” instead of the intended “BR”.

The Coper

I just love how years back, before the BMP-T/BMP-72 was considered even being added,

Some people, including Russian mains, predicted that it would essentially be a BMP-2M but more armoured with an MBT chassis, which would place it at a relatively high BR, so there would be almost no point in playing it.

I guess that highlighted part really turned out unexpected…

Aint coping just trying to have normal discussions.

I dont care about the bmpt if go up or down.
You just having a hard time with it.

actually according to some people here, it’s fine and you just have a skill issue bro! unfair nerf bro! USA MAINS WAAA WAAA WAAA!!!

All you guys did was buff the BMPT by putting it in an even better lineup. Just like you did with the Flakpanzer. Live with it.

This is not how BRs work.

love this cope, can’t wait for you to use it again when it goes up again

I know pitbull named Princess was running unchecked in the daycare for week and we lost two SWAT teams trying to take him down, but moving him out of daycare would be making him even more dangerous!

huh, what the hell are u on about?
Anyone could use the BMPT in higher BRs by having a vic that surpasses 10.3
this simply reduces the lowest BR it can be downtiered to, makes no difference for anything of a higher BR
not like anybody was stopping you from bringing the BMPT at 10.3 alongside your 10.7 T-80B

Is this a joke or something?

Yes, bias is especially noticeable when awarding something to the US or Israel that has a truly insane combat rating. For example, the F-15C GE was given a 14.3 rating, while the premium Su-30MK2 was given a full 1 combat rating lower, at 13.3. Or, for example, the Israeli Namer Tsrikhon IFV was given a BR of 11.3, while the Russian BMPT Terminator, which is superior to the Namer Tsrikhon in every way, was given a BR of only 10.3.

I’ll file a complaint against you for insulting you. Behave yourself. ok

Su30MKK and MK are nowhere near as good as F15C Golden Eagle.

Now I agree that 13.3 is bit low but as long as top tier remains 14.3 Gaijin will not change their br anytime soon.

This is roughly what balance looks like according to gaijin.

So, even Soviet defense attorneys agree that the Su-30MK2’s ballistic missile capability is underestimated. At the time of its introduction, the F-15CGE had only eight mediocre missiles and a low speed.
