Reminds me on the Milk Truck thingy, a penomenom from the dawn of War Thunder. This ancient truck with its thin wheels still moving like a modern all terrain vehicle. Still abused to outmaneuver most things at this BR. On any ground type.
Ger has a similar vehicles, a halftracked one, Sd.Kfz 6/2. It barely moves. Thats the thing.
Alvis has some (very) weird takes sure but he does back them up, I think there’s often language issues but I’ve never seen him be malicious or impolite. We’ve had some good debates.

IS-5 is very good, but quite rare so not too much of an issue. However, at 6.3 you’ve got the VZ 53/59 which clearly should be 6.7 and is incredibly OP, especially when compared to other AAs of the same br
im pretty sure hes american so language issue cant be a factor
Is it tho? I feel like specifically this and last year the complaints were pretty justified with all the stuff Gaijin pulled out of their hat to pamper USSR performance in top tier.

When people are like “T-80BVM is the most OP tank to date and the Su-30SM is so OP!” then yeah its crying wolf.
T-80 has its drawbacks, but the SU 30 ? That thing regularily takes out half my team in top tier with its broken missiles … couple it with an Mi 8 and it’s automatic win
I am talking about the Su-30SM, not the Su-30SM2. I am also not talking about GRB performance but ARB. When Su30 first came out there was a lot of american whining when there were at least 2 superior jets above it in the ranking.
Sure stuff like that is always ridiculous and overdramatic. But on the other hand Kh38MT, LMUR, Su30 double rack, Soyuz, now the BMPT and all the small little negative changes to non russian equipment in the past year really dont beat the allegations

I think it’s not the nation but something else, something he mentioned once which I won’t repeat as it’s his business but it explains a lot.
I try to be charitable and he is open for a debate, will try to back up what he’s saying and is polite etc. we’ve had some good debates in the past and he’s often technically correct (the best kind of correct) about stuff but missing context.
