Depend on which vehicle. From the western side of the community there are way more bs claim.
Sure some stuff are undertier , example being BMPT mostly due to it armor and it damage model ,but stuff like 90M ? 80BVM ? 2S38 ???They are strong but people tend to give those thing way too much credit. Even in this thread we got people saying even wilder stuff about the Soviet vehicle.
It definitely balance out in one way or another.
Sure there are tons of terrible takes about soviet top tier vehicles but after seeing the KH38MT, LMUR, LDIRCM threads we had past year you can not convince me that Ru mains are not the biggest copers on this forum.

The russian bias discussions this year had literally nothing to do with skill, they were mostly about how far we have to stray from reality so the Ru tree can stay competetive. The BMPT being grossly undertiered is one thing but with the ammo belt changes were completey entering fantasy land once again

T-80BVM was a total menace and people use to underplay its strengths, but a number of changes eventually reduced its effectiveness, either directly or indirectly (like when they added spall liners). Let alone just adding better tanks that eventually countered it (Much like the situation we had overall with the Scharnhorst. Was strong, and was for a while, but eventually lost its meta status)
2S38 is still under BRed, and should never have been 10.3, let alone for the past 2? years. With the decompression there is 0 excuse for it to not be 10.7/11.0.
But then if you add on things like Soyuz, KH-38MT, Premium Su-30, Su-33, Ka-52, LMURs, Pantsir. (heck, even the Mig-23 is overperforming quite a bit, and the devs chose that intentionally from what I understand) Its hard to ignore a pattern

That mean you assume people are “Main”. Which is false, you can play multiple nation, which a lot actually do. On both side there are player like that.
Maybe , maybe not. Who actually know , as of now we have one extremely undertier vehicle in the RU tech tree, throw in the 2S38 if you want to count 2. Beside that other Russian ground vehicle are generally balance. On par with other major nation in some factors but also worse in some other factors.
buy these and youre set for ground, dont need anything else

Yep. Dont forget the TURMS too. People like to undersell that tank, but its a nightmare to deal with unless you have some decent shells
and dont forget the KA-50 and Su-25. Both solid CAS
add the su25K and you have a competitive 10.3 line up
People usually have one tree they play more than the others or have one they started with. Its no coincidence that anyone defending broken stuff usually has a vehicle of that tree or more in their top 3 most played.
What do you mean maybe, maybe not? The entire competetiveness of USSR top tier rn is based on ahistorical nerfs to competitors, selective implementation of mechanics or straight up fantasy stuff. The new under BRed cash cow is just icing on the cake
Remember the time when ka50 was dominating past top tier with the vikhir, or when su 25 recieved kh38. It was a mess. No other nation has such pattern, sure american t58, but its very uncommon to any nation get an early op vehicle (for later get nerfed) in compare with russia.

Thankfully I missed the worst of the KA-50 dominance, but I remember it being a pain sitll for a while later.
And yeah. KH-38MT has always been a problem. Most insulting was saying that Brimstone 1s on the Tornado GR4 (max range 15km) would be unfair because it would outrange SPAA and there is no counterplay in the same update that they added the Su-34 :D
