You can barrel roll it in a phantom still.
I mean if you are slightly higher/within maneuver limit speed, you can pull that move .

Business driving corrupt incentives. To me premiums in this game are like people who pay for prons when there’s plenty free if you wanted it. Why do it? It’s some kind of weakness I can’t put my finger on.
Only if there’s no SPAA and the sky is clear. So only if it’s unopposed. AGM65’s still buggy, lose track on the A10Late and refuse to fire often or require multiple “lock” key inputs before they work.
That’s a fundamental flaw if they aren’t stacked behind each other in the projectiles path and more placed side by side for instance. I guess that would be the same reason tank tracks get blown off but the bomb didn’t kill the tank at point blank kind of bug?
Only in rare scenarios where you dont face tons of spaa and mavs actually oneshot tanks. In most cases you just get thrown to free pantsirs and even multi vehicle sams and your rwr cant recognize them at all.
Meanwhile su24m gets 5 almost guaranteed instagib missiles (much faster as well) and fights rolands, stingers and other garbage. Only 1 time I faced chinese tor and claws, tor got slimed by teammate and claws just got demolished by low level pass kh25ml.
Currently you just pay more sp for less reliable weaponry and bigger chance of spaa intercepting all your munitions and maybe even you as well.

Sort of, they are still not acquiring the maximum potential money long term though as how can they calculate their losses? from dead accounts due to their business plan, balance and premiums.
4 years none of my money. Just a drop in the bucket but surely there’s thousands of dead accounts.

Still pretty funny considering on how quickly and how many top tier premiums they added across the game when they realized how much money they can milk off the playerbase. (most of the big spenders are chinese which i think should have their own server)

To be fair, Korean War stuff would have just killed the game. Everyone has already done WWII to death, and people don’t care too much about Korea. Advancing through the Cold War to the modern age is what kept War Thunder alive. I do think they should have definitely slowed down. Top tier now should be what top tier was a few years ago, at least until we had better maps or at least more game modes rather than ODL Flight Simulator.

That’s quite damning chart trending. I think they’re making mistakes. They could turn it around if they had the will. There must simply be enough pay piggies to allow for account losses.
I agree with your view of them advancing too fast. The modern stuff was just too juicy. Every machine they release that is older generation now is just skipped by older accounts and extra grind for new accounts.
I suppose better to have them then not at all.
They might want to address options for Pantsir and BMPT wrecking the game balance.

Don’t get me wrong, I want the F-22 and J-20 (I couldn’t give a fig about the Su-57), but it just happened way too fast with zero balance. I mean, I get that technology advanced from the Phantom to F-22 in three decades, doesn’t mean it should have taken three years to implement it.
It wouldn’t have if they implemented it properly, we went from WW2 to korea slowly then in the same time went from korea to modern tech now.
we advanced far far too fast mate, I was playing this before they started jamming in such modern tech, we had the coldwar kit when I started but that was about the gist of it.
They literally went from Mig23 to Su30 in a shorter time span than we went from WW2 props to Mig23. it makes no sense at all.
I do wish the 60s eras MBTs would get some attention tbh man.
Eh F22 maybe but the J20 and such will have far better kit than teh F22
