None of this would have happened if people stop getting off topic on different vehicles. Go complain on the respective threads. And stop pointing at each other stats. I don’t care if you’re a good player or not. And stop attacking each other. Can we focus on BMPT, I can’t believe I look at this thread and waste my time seeing stupid comments from yall.

Electronic component may be a little too strong???

Even with a 125mm its hard to aim at the weakspot (I couldnt see his hull), its very trolly at that part because you might hit the ERA on the turret.


Consisder this message a reset on this thread. Every comment below has to be about the BMPT and its placement at 10.3. I don’t want others that need to catch up on what we said read you guys fighting.

the BMPT terminator should ge the same dart as the damn BMP2M and go to 11.3 or 11.7 depending onhow it goes armour wise.
It is extremely potent to be at the same BR as the ajax and what not

I also noticed shooting the electronic module in the turret doesn’t stop the guns from firing.

Don’t think the driver hatch is a weakspot and you missed the weakspot on the last pic by some pixel I assume and your side shot did nothing because of course lol. The thing is mostly empty there

I noticed that the other day by the way, I fired a DM23 clean through it and it did break itbut the dude kept on firing.

Right now, the ammo is hard to hit to kill the BMPT. It should be shooting the turret but not the ammo disables the turret completely, like the PUMA. The BMPT will survive but obviously can’t shoot back. Same principle as the other unmanned turret vehicles.

Even if you detonate the missiles in the launchers it doesn’t do much damage at all to the actual tank.
The turrets soak some amont of damage compared to other IFVs as well

We got a bug report response about the ammo belts not killing the tank, they consider the ammo belt that’s highlighted as external so it won’t destroy the vehicle when blown up.

Sure man the ammo belt that goes directly into the hull and connects to the hull ammo is external, such bending of logic to make the BMPT artificially powerful.
This is just disheartening.

Gaijin said in the last patch they “fixed the bug” where detonating the missiles killed the BMPT.

Yeah I don’t understand what’s “external”, they’re literally sitting on top of the ammo…

Needed to aim like 10 cm lower, hard to properly aim when a bmpt is raining 30mm on you.

From the model it doesn’t look like the ammoe above is linked to the ammo under the crew. So I guess that where they get their external from

Then the BMPT shouldn’t be able to continuously fire. The fact it can implies it is all connected in one chain. Gaijin should tell us specifically what makes it external. Their broad ambiguous language is really harmful to the community.

And yeah, I was flanking to kill him by his side, but as you saw, not even that worked. He turned around and well killed me.
