Premium BMPT barely overperformed at 11.3 lol.
Why was this flagged?
Since the BR changes went into effect, 10.7 is actually playable now. Out of 5 matches I played with the US 10.7 lineup I won 4 and had a much better KDR in those matches. I only encountered one match with BMPTs (the one my team lost) but I am noticing a lot of 11.0s being put at 10.7 now.
When reality hits, they tell you things need to be balanced. But when Russia’s blatant strength is staring them in the face, they go as blind as ever

Regardless of your subjective opinion on its performance, it shouldn’t be seeing anything not strictly top tier.

The BMPT and BMPT-72 has increased in BR to 11.7. This has changed nothing, it still dominates, it still doesn’t die reliably, it still doesn’t get disabled in one shot since it has barrels and missiles on both sides, it still doesn’t blow up if you hit the ammo. I will continue to dominate until and after 12.0. If it can find a hull down position it is invincible.
We need a real fix to this.
Then we have another problem that might be related to how utterly broken this vehicle is: The match maker at BR 11.7 is, to put it very simply, unfun. Because of how overrun it is with Russia players (Not Russian players but Russia nation players). At no point in time have I seen the amount of Russia nation players that are searching for a game be lower than 5 times the nation that comes second in amount of players, usually USA. It is not uncommon for Russia to have over 200 players searching while all the small nations only have 1-6 players, Germany around 20 and USA around 30.
I’m currently trying to grind out China and I bought he Al-Khalid-I when it was on sale and the new ZTZ96B, so I am pretty much only playing China at 11.7 at the moment (I’m just one tier away from top tier tanks now). I need to take regular breaks from this BR and go play other nations because the only nation I get to play against is Russia, and that of course comes with a lot of BMPT spam. It just simply isn’t fun to grind against a single nation regardless of the BMPT. The only time I can reliably play against other nations is when I play with my friend and I beg him to play Russia so that we usually don’t get matched against Russia.
As soon as I unlock any tank in 12.0+ I’m uptiering and I will finally be out of this bracket. Honestly I will probably never touch 11.7 again because how bad this have been.
Been playing 10.7 and it’s been mostly wins and few losses. At 12.7 it’s easier to handle the BMPT with Abrams when not hull down but overall I think BR 12 would be the best. Either way, at least it’s getting better at lower BR’s not having that menace ruining games.
I think the max for uptiers at 10.7 is 4 BMPTs per game making it better for everyone else to not get spammed to oblivion
No-one will want to play 11.7 like this. If you’re not russia player then you are only getting match against russia. This will in the long term totally destroy the 11.7 BR and all the premium vehicles that are there and Gaijin will make less money from this since people won’t buy 11.7 prems.
12.0 won’t fix it either. It has to be fundamentally changed.
Just do what I do, skip it.
Well it is kinda of offtopic and I touched a lot of nerve for calling people out for buying overprice pixelated stuff. People don’t like being called out so… You know , maybe we deserve the undertier BMPT. Maybe the matchmaking was destined to be fucked
Stats from hundreds of thousands of games aren’t subjective.
Stats that showed ~60% WR and above average K/D and K/S that was only slightly worse than the Type 90 Fuji but better than TT Type 90s and better than the T-72B3M in February?
And BMPT-72 is only “performing worse” because it’s a new premium with tons of botters and genuine dogwater players who otherwise manage 0.5 K/D in anything else, i’d wager if it was played only by the same people sweats who abused the hell out of the TT BMPT, its stats would still be above 2A7Vs and close to 2A7HU’s, the 3rd and 2nd best MBTs in WT.

It’s not really hard to establish 60% WR in a tier where your peers are almost non existent.
What does Germany have to offer there, VJTF and FlaRakRad ?
For the US it’s not that different either, IPM1, M1A1 and ADATS ?
I doubt it’s that hard to win when your main foes come from minor nations’ premium ODL spam.
Also, I have no idea why are you comparing it’s K/D to Fuji and Type 90 when they aren’t at the same BR.
All those sweats abusing TT BMPT but still can’t come close to stats of something like T58, which isn’t even talked about in here, probably because it isn’t in the right nation to activate “malding loops” for the forum crowd.
Premium BMPT is performing worse because it’s objectively a worse vehicle.

They’re 11.7, same BR as M1A1, which you brought up. They’re also some of the best 11.7s, competing with currently the BMPTs, and the M1A1 for top spot, and they’re losing.

It isn’t hard for them to win either at 12.7 where said premium ODL spam is non-existent. I put my BMPT-72 in my T-90M/BVM line-up and I’m not doing any worse there than at 11.3 lol, it’s just a really good vehicle that’s out of place, and pretending it can’t be at its deserved BR is either ignorance, bias, or both.

Care to elaborate how that is an argument for the BMPT?
If there are no other vehicles at 11.3 itll just be up or downtiered all the time and considering that non russian 11.3 had 848474 and 11.0 had 1557227 games while 11.7 had 5451688 games its safe to assume that the BMPTs played in 11.7 more than in 11.0 and under.
Not surprising considering a 47% russian playrate in 10.3
48% in 10.7
49% in 11.0
80% in 11.3
20% in 11.7
35% in 12.0
and 13% in 12.3
So yeah the BMPT already held its own despite probably having a ton of games in 11.7+ already.

Didn’t have the occasion to play top tier GRB these days, wanted to keep my sanity ngl
in august, people demanding that type 90 went to 11.7 because it’s unfair that it can face 10.3
but somehow BMPT-72 is fine
