I mean yeah they do, the Chinese broadly believe their equipment to be significantly better than Russian equipment irl, yet they’re not very strong in-game
Why are the 2A42 cannons so accurate on the BMPT? Despite all the arguments, the cannons are wobbly as hell, but that’s because BMPT was never designed to fight long range.
It’s even more accurate than the 25mm M242 Bushmaster found on many NATO IFVs or even the 30mm MK30-2/ABM cannon found on the PUMA IFV that literally has limited RoF to meet the pin-point accuracy standards required by the Bundeswehr.

you can see in this video that BMPT shooting the 2A42 at some range (honestly no idea how much is it but seems like 500-600m) has extreme difficulty hitting a BMP wreckage at the low RoF mode.
Management said release BMPT so we can all go on vacation. Comes back from vacation to literal hatred. I say Gajin should not release any vehicles close to a long vacation in the future.
The 1990 Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe defines an infantry fighting vehicle as “an armoured combat vehicle which is designed and equipped primarily to transport a combat infantry squad, and which is armed with an integral or organic cannon of at least 20 millimeters calibre and sometimes an antitank missile launcher”
BMPT cannot transport combat infantry squad, so it’s certainly not an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV).
Yes, but Merkavas can also be used as APCs (brilliant tank design by Israelis too) BMPT is more tank destroyer for sure than light tank. The fact APC’s are in game fighting tanks labeled as light tanks is Gajin adding content for the sake of adding content. They should not be in the game.
EDIT: Infantry mode will give them purpose but enlisted failed BMPT joins money flows it’s like they’re preparing to shift the whole game and BMPT feels like the first part of that.
Merkava is capable of transporting infantry, but it doesn’t make it an APC, because it’s not even a secondary purpose for this vehicle. IDF itself never exercised transporting infantry this way. In extreme emergency, they are trained to use the Merkava as MEDEVAC for injured soldiers, as it can carry 4 people and a medic.
youre forgetting how lazy gaijin is in this regard
Adding turm III which was a testbed for 3 axis stabaliser
people complained about it and gaijins answer was : we wont add a feature thats limited to only 1 vehicle
bmpt has brutal gun wobble when firing and it should be very inaccurate
i already know gaijins answer to that aswell that they wont add it due to only 2 vehicles having that brutal gun wobble (both bmpts)
