Oh I am not saying your test is bad lol, my point is that the reality is even worse 😂
I am not sure if the other guy you were chatting with saw my post about my DM53 rounds bouncing. I have first hand experience with the magic bouncing darts against the BMPT’s: BMPT/72 Should not be 10.3 - #2571 by SilentTracker
I think the core of this discussion is what happens after said tank fires at the BMPT.
With the better penning shells, it will probably kill. With the lower penning shells, it might just kill the driver and it keeps on going and eventually kills you or disables you before you can fire again
Magach Hydra: You are wrong with that thinking bro, my rocket pods are located outside, but when it gets blown up, the rocket will teleport into the turret and kill everyone inside.
Tiger II also stores its ammo inside the turret. Wounder why its not external? Why is the whole tank lighting up, when the turret gets shot? And BMPt not??
Its the turret that sells it for me. If they would have put that Turret on a T-80 hull then it would legit be my in my top 5 tanks in game. Both on looks and gameplay.
Now the BMPT is at 10.7 and still OP at unbearable levels.
The BMPT is not in the right place in terms of BR and Model. It NEEDS to be nerfed by moving up in BR and changing the model and characteristics of the vehicle, nerfing the survivability of the tank (get the NATO treatment, where most of the nato vehicles get nerfed or not modeled as they should be).
The BMPT is NOT at the level of the Bradley, is NOT at the level of the Puma, is not at the level of the Desert Warrior, is NOT at the level of the Type 94, is NOT at the level Strf 9040, and probably NOT even at the level of the Namer. None of the vehicles should constantly face in the same match as an 8-9 BMPT, which could disable all these together if it wants. And in the same match, the russian teams can have up to 20 BMPTS in a perfect condition match (5 vehicles times 2 premium and techtree version, is 10 BMPTs times another 2 back-ups, which is 20 in total)
It’s incredible that a few weeks ago, we had a mention in an official War Thunder Q&A, where the game director mentioned something related to premiums, and weeks later, after the Q&A, they dropped one of the most disruptive and annoying to deal with premiums in the existence of the game.
The so called ‘nerf’ has done nothing, just had a game where the enemy was virtually all made up of these and my team J’d out within a minute or two… Maybe we should all not play across this BR and leave them to fight themselves? If Gaijin do not address this, the damage and poor customer ‘relations’ will get even worse than what it already is… I don’t mind it being introduced, it just needs parity to not screw up matches so one sided. Shame the Ajax and the Boxer will not have the same impact at that BR…
