BMPT/72 BR Topic

They don’t lack penetration though? And its designed for infantry support, not tank on tank combat.

From playing 10.7 US a bit today, it doesn’t help that US players at the moment seem to be pretty much free kills around that BR. So of course an already strong vehicle like the BMPT will stomp even harder.

I have seen lawnchairs that were harder to fold than a lot of the 10.7 US teams

Same weakspot as any other Russian MBT? What are you trying to prove here?

Well that’s what happens when you gimp the tanks incredibly hard.

Botched turret ring modelling, incredibly clumsy and amateur turret drive modelling etc.

Massive FOTM effect as well, the queue is 10-10-120, everybody half decent went to try BMPTs.

Abrams are far from gimped, they are the best or 2nd best vehicles at every BR they’re placed at.

I mean it really isnt that hard even with M774 from M1

If you penetrate it, its usually entirely crippled or just blows up from the entire interior being ammo. The problem arises if you get RNG’d by the belt not exploding when he is hull-down, though that is a bug and should be patched soon enough.

Yeah but even at some <45* shots like the one I sent you get completely disarmed thru Power System+FCS and turret controls so you cant even fire back

Feel free to do so

While I do agree Gaijin screwed up with those things, the Abrams is not even close to being gimped enough to explains this level of teams.

This is very true yeah.

Then how do you explain it?

If it’s not the vehicles, then it must be the players which implies people with low skill levels almost exclusively play America. That seems like an unrealistic and unfounded assumption.

The players across all nations are equally skilled, claiming otherwise is a cop out.

Honestly, the main explanation that I kind of forgot about is the FOTM effect of the new update.

It happens all the time if Gaijin introduces either a really strong or really iconic (or both) vehicle to a single nation a whole bunch of the generally better multi nation mains go to that vehicle, which in turn shifts the balance in player quality between nations.

Because it is completely false , across all nation skill are not equal.

And how to explain it ?

The very core of the game , Warthunder is to blame. There is no incentive to actually get better , you just need to play and eventually you will get the vehicle you want. So majority of the playerbase will completely botch the learning curve and as long as they get the vehicle they want. They are fine with it.

This forum full of people like that , not even mentioning some of them have never played the vehicle they claiming to be OP or outright broken. There a lot of aspect to look at when you want to determine a vehicle weak or not. Which at top tier is arguable , since all tank are basically the same. It just the skill floor require to get decent result for each tank is completely different.

That why you can see T80BVM/2A7 with good stats a lot more than other nation.

Abram are not bad , far from the worst. If you calling it bad then that just because you not good enough to cope with the tank downside and learn to cooperate with the tank to make it work. Blaming the vehicle all the time just make you look bad , not the game dev and the vehicle.

And to the BMPT ? It can go to 10.7 or 11.0 max. It need to go up but no way in hell it is that OP. Armor is the only thing it got

Minor nations have better players for obvious reasons.
