Well you are both incorrect. It is OP af as it stands currently due to (what im guessing is inaccurately armor and compartment modeling which I HOPE they fix. I have just been rushing head long into the enemies and eating an insane amount of rounds that i absolutely should not be eating. As for the gun. its good, but not great. aside from the classic war thunder trope of “fire many small bullets and one will find a weird way to pen” its not OP. shot barrels and tracks and flank has been the name of the game. All they need to do is fix its over performing armor and it will be a good second or 3rd string for the amazing russian prem lineup
Seen many of these in top tier last night, they all did well. In one match, the sole BMPT player on our team lived entire match, led kills, and said it was his second nuke in a row. He pushed through the whole map leading the charge. If you are hiding in your BMPT at any tier, that is a you problem or you are misremembering.
In another match, the BMPT sat mostly in the open, only front plate hidden by small hill. I put 5 rounds into various places and 2 other tanks hit him multiples as well. I hit ammo twice. No effect with any shots stopping him until a new tank with spawn protection got him. This was at top tier. My next engagement in the match with a top tier mbt, I rushed my first shot so just disabled him and my next shot killed him.
This seems reasonable to anyone? The changes today are not nearly enough. They also need to get an official statement out and talk about this much more. Do not care that it is the holidays. They dropped this clearly OP vehicle into game right before holidays and have ruined many players’ experiences over this time…including some 10.7 premiums folks seem to have bought per other posts. Unacceptable actions.

Yea i’m hoping they release a post about this soon saying its a known bug they intend to fix. other then that its solid.
Better than nothing but the detonation actually killing the crew sitting next to said exposed ammo would be much greater

I assume because it says “cannon breeches” means only destroying 1 ammo belt will disable both cannons right?

Haven’t tested it but since this is WT we are talking about, i have some doubts
Overall you facing BMPT at TOP only 3 times :
1st time - bro get 2 kills in BMPT when he flank (BMPT is hist 3rd spawn, and he kill one MBT at point and then, one HSTVL. That’s all
2nd time - bro get total 6 kills with BMPT and 2 spawns. He kill 1 MBT and 5 IFV/SPAA. For that one MBT he uses 7 rockets (xD). And in summary, he do what i say - he flank enemy team, and execute their sides or backs. Fun fact - no one reacts to the fact that a guy is driving next to him …
3rd - guy in BMPT is hiding behind building and do exactly what i say - waiting for rushing Germans and shooting them to their side. After that, he push to spawn and execute order 66 at existing IFV/SPAA. Overall, he kills 6 times, 5 lights/1MBT, where 5 kills is on “spawn” when whole team attacking spawn. And then he’s got nuke.
Idk is 2 nukes per 11 battles or facing BMPT 3 times per 11 battles is a “many of these”. Another fun fact, both nukes is againist Germans xDD
This guy who tell you there is second nuke in row - he’s probably lying. U can check this.
One more - that once where you shoot 3 times into BMPT turret - idk if you have high ping or that guy, but on server replay you shoot into “empty” space.
