yes we do
Many of these shots look like non-pens and some of them are ricochets off the breech armor, and the ones that do penetrate almost always takes out the turret traverse and kills crew, so I wouldn’t say the trunnion “absorbs” much of anything there. And one of the shots that did go through looks like a short rod penetrator, which wouldn’t create that much spall anyway.
The first and third shots look like non-pens which is just normal, especially for the one that hits the turret face of the 120S. The second shot however, is the usual ghost/bugged out shell phenomenon which everyone experiences in this game regularly (too bad Gaijin won’t do anything to rework and fix shell mechanics and bad netcode).
agreed, yet some people think only happend to one nation.
Of course it affects all nations. It’s just how volumetric works. And it definitely doesn’t help when certain vehicles are added with obvious and unfair advantages that disrupts an already flawed gameplay experience.
These shots should do more damage, but didn’t. That is the problem. It’s not always, but it shouldn’t even be sometimes.
Guys is it true that bmpt72 can’t fire both 30 mm guns at the same time???
Yes, BMPT cannot fire both 30mm at the same time.
so the point of having two guns is to carry different types of ammunition?
it would be good for it to shoot both the guns
But it will be more hard to fight
We would gladly remove the artificial gun shield made by the Hope and dream from the Devs
I feel like a pipe dream fix would be to give it the slower fire rate like on the BMP-3/4’s 2A72. it may not be historical but at least it would be less insufferable to fight.
In addition, the optical devices hiding the hull seem to be black holes for shells. I have had several occasions of it eating M829A1
Also, the absolutely tiny turret drive in comparison to the M1 series is insane. If Gaijin wants to claim it is that small, they need to consider the issues with the Abrams hydraulic pump and other “fine” details. Either roll out a big update giving everyone so-called realistic damage models, or none at all.
Well, that’s kinda the whole problem with this game. Shell ballistics and shell-armor interactions have been an inconsistent mess for years, and there’s always a bunch of “fixes” for specific ammunition types that are announced every now and then which don’t actually fix anything. The managers of this game just seem to be interested in pumping out more and more new, shiny, “meta” content instead of providing some desperately needed quality of life updates to counter such issues.
People always claim something like R-27ER can go 5.8 mach or BVM has 50% less ammo combustion chance how the hell this thing couldnt be a wishful thinking ?
I’ve just come to terms with the BS shots being part of the game. It will never change, all we can do is cope.
Wish I got it at its peak, still strong but man that would of been fun.
Any word from Gaijin about the complaints or just radio silence?
I really enjoy 10.0, but I would like to play the tanks I actually paid for that are 10+ without the whole team getting melted
You’re forgetting about the KA-50
Placing a hydra 70 rocket with 1.19kg of tnt equivalent and doing more damage to the machine gun than the two cannons on both sides of said Hydras is unacceptable. Mavericks have a tendency to completely miss BMPTs instead of just splashing on a direct hit (yes I have tested this, Mavericks completely missed BMPTs in the open and moving in a straight line 43 times out of 50.) The other 7 hits were six “hits” with minimal damage to tracks despite a full top down shot, and one kill.
TOW-2B is also useless against BMPT, as any attempt to shoot detonates above the RELIKT “collarbone” hiding under the aluminum gorget, which exists for some reason. The fact that the aluminum apparently cannot get shot away unlike most applique/spaced plates is also a concern.
TOW-2A is also only a reliable penetration frontally if you are hitting the recessed “turret” dead on, and don’t catch the large missile on any of the protruding external modules. Almost any degree of angling away will result in the shell disappearing into the void, instead of the Protection Analysis statement.
Hitting the “middle” belt of ammo should receive a higher chance of an ammunition detonation, and impact the rounds going into the guns and the guns themselves at the bare minimum. This is also going through the FCS frontally, which on most tanks disables firing and aiming. In the case of the BMPT it appears to have no effect at all despite the claimed changes when it was brought up to 11.3
