What about US 12.0? They moved up everything around it so they could now have a full lineup of 12.7 vehicles at 12.0. I can very easily twist this theory of yours around many other nation’s lineups.

at 0:06 you should have gone for the driver port or lower side track rather than turret.
dont focus on the turret, its a trap that will get you killed.

I agree there’s a video further up I posted showing a different scenario. But his driver was not exposed enough in this one. When I shot there it went through as he backed up. Sometimes you can hit the belt sometimes you can’t and this scenario of someone hull down is more common.

Hmm, so why do they not need external ERA bricks for protection against kinetic rounds unlike Russian tanks? I’m going to take a wild guess and say it’s because NATO tanks actually have armor that provides sufficient protection against kinetic rounds. But conveniently that is never reflected in this “realistic” game, while Russian vehicles get superior protection. Again, how convenient for them.
Off topic- Lets take a wild guess that Gajin built a game called war thunder where they have to balance realism. Assume all NATO tanks (abrams for this example) gets ungodly armor and ammo because in real life US has too much money in research and development and Russia struggles with keeping up (proven time and time again but they have nukes so who cares superpower or whatever). Now in a game, you want every nation to have top tier of 12.7 what do you do when some nations don’t have all the bells and whistles and real life finances of US or NATO or whatever? You balance the game and create as much balance as you can plain and simple. Russia would not have anything over BR 10 if not for ERA we know they design their tanks poorly we know one shot through new ammunition of ERA will disable any russian tank WE KNOW NEW ROUNDS ARE CREATED AS WARFARE CHANGES COOL!!! We see war footage of Bradleys wiping out T90’s, T80s whatever shyt can they have. Stop with the nationalism and focus on what makes the game balanced. Obviously we all know the BMPT is not balance, it introduces a new dynamic where turrets can take anything from HE to APFDS rounds and not suffer if you play it with half a braincell. ERA is not the PROBLEM, Russian tanks IS NOT THE PROBLEM, BMPT is a vehicle (that I am even trying to unlock) that is ACTUALLY unbalanced. The composites side skirts on the Abrams with any angled shot aren’t enough to destabilize a round like Russian ERA can. That’s just simply a fact. Even on the Strv 122B+ It’s heavy composite sideskirts aren’t enough to deform a round or significantly impact it like Russian ERA can. Those composite side skirts at best are stopping HMG rounds and maybe weak RPGs.
Some nato tanks like the M60T (which is Turkish) swapped from Composites to ERA because they found it way more effective in most cases against HEAT projectiles and some kinetic projectiles. I’m not even sure what you are blabbering about.
Keep in mind MTC4 Has the BMPT, T-15, T-14 and you don’t hear the cries of unbalance in that game. So in my honest opinion, it seems to be a bigger problem with the WarThunder community.
My main cripe is that Russia swapped out a turret for twin autocannons and now it’s “broken” basically. Because just like witht he BMP-2M if you screw up with a shot against it, you’re dead. Only thing is that “Hey they have no armor!” that’s literally it.

BMPT is not just a T-90M with slapped twin autocannon turret on it. It’s even better armored than the T-90M and for sure features much more survivability. It literally has a metal sheet inside hardcoded to absorb any spall, basically melting every shot.

BMPT is quite literally a modified T-90M hull swapped out with a different turret. It has the exact same base armor profile along with the spall liners, and metal that covers the fuel tanks. There’s only a few minor differences, so I’m not sure what you are yapping about.
Yeah but it doesn’t change the fact, that comparing Roblox gamemode to War Thunder is just like comparing Ace Combat to DCS.
