3UBR8, 3UBR6, 3UOF8 and 3UBR11 all have the same dimensions so feeding it into the mechanism shouldn’t be an issue unless it’s a very specific issue that I’m not aware of, would it be the geometry?
the actual projectile and cap for 3ubr11 is longer despite using the same case dimensions as 3ubr8
according to this picture from reddit that leads to a 404 page on Janes but that’s about as much as i can find

this was a 12.7/13.0 BMPT nuke less than a week ago when i decided to play RU for a change, if you play like a moron then you will get killed like a moron. BMPT doesnt need APFSDS, nor does it need further handholding.
Plus BMPT still generates SP like crazy from just getting hits and crits, on top of kills so literally nothing has changed for it.
Youre free to go cry about how dead BMPT is in the BMPT thread tho

its not even that slow, HP/T its comparable to leopard 2’s lol
its not as big as a deterrent as people make it out to be because if you dont push without thinking beforehand you wont need to back up at 32 km/h because you pushed too hard
the survivability its great, that you struggle with it because you rush with it its another thing
its survivability is not on par because the ammo profile is lower and it has a super armored semi crewed turret, the crew sits on a really strong hull and with less parts to draw spall from, its better armored than a lot of vehicles closer to its class like PUMA while having missiles consistantly better at providing with kills
it cant be blown by most HE shells, that’s just straight up a lie, you can even try if you want, i’ve tried to hit the cupola directly with HE’s so its easier to “overpressure” and it still cant be overpressured
the tall stature does make up for the gun depression and specially because most zones are just exactly the height of the BMPT
dosent really require APFSDS to be op specially considering the firerate
no 30 mm autocannon gets HE-VT, at most they get HE-TF and its only pretty few autocannons and even TT BMPT gets HE-TF
you get a whole ammo reload for it, i would love if i could have an extra ammo reload in an ifv, specially considering how common are turret ammoracks are
only 4 very reliable with decent penetration fast as hell and to top it off an extra reload due to ammo box, and lets remember than stuff like PUMA VJTF and EBCR jaguar get 4 aswell but they have to reload, and altough they are fire and forget, they are not very reliable
also this is straight up cherrypicking, you cant even penetrate the turret of an M1A2 with 99% of apfsds ingame let alone Missiles, what the hell is that?

I honestly just learned to accept it. There’s videos on “its easy” there’s videos on “its still broken” and I’m convinced all the best players are playing the new stuff leaving the BMPT/72 where it currently is. You will still get games where veterans are just oppressive with it but most are playing like bots when I see them now.
At this point, I don’t think it’s going to move up or down at all. We’ll see what Gajin thinks in time since this thread is still open.
