You acting like a CR1 MK3 can’t with L26 is pretty poor.
Under the ERA mate, it’s viable on a T90, T72 and BMPT.

And you wont now with the internal Relikt buffs. the rounds effects combined with the spall liners will reduce the effectiveness. I have killed BMP-Ts with the PUMA and AJAX before this planned buff it was already a pain in the ass.
Lower shots to a T-series tank may hit the ammo on a BMP-T what are you hitting? Nothing maybe a track it might spall and hit a crew member
L26 is serviceable it’s not good and it’s not great

It’s the 2nd highest penning round at 10.7 only behind DM33 which is found even up to 12.0 as a standard munition.
Excluding of course the 700+ pen round of the 292.

Is the BMPT damage model a shambles, yes, but the fact of the matter is. You shouldb’t be shooting the ERA anywhere on any russian tank, Period.

I said ERA is being buffed the Internal Relikt protection along with spall liners will make these tanks stronger. That is just a fact and shooting under the ERA in some cases that will work but rarely on a BMP-T chance of ammo exploding is low.
T-90M is not as egregious as it faces top tier rounds.

And you´re right but it doesn´t mater, you just said that shooting the ERA is a “tosup”, now with the buff is more of a nono, yes, you shouldn´t shoot there, but most of the time you just dont have time to not aim there or the not era point is just not visible, it doesn´t matter a lot your entire point in terms of gameplay, even less when the nerfs to the dispersion of terminator guns have been reduced today.
You can´t just say “aim better” when the enemy hasn´t to aim better.

If there’s a point covered in ERA, don’t just shoot it and then waste your position.
Retreat reposition and re-evaluate the situaton, don’t just blast into what may be a 50/50 chance and hope.
The nerfs to the dispoersion aren’t that much as far as I’ve seen.
As well as thatthe point in terms of gameplay are incredibly important, the fact you’re making it out as if it’s not shows.
Tell me, how can you not aim better. the BMPT is only an issue if you push it when it’s hull down. other than that, don’t be overly aggressive towards the damn thing and push it so it’s not in a vulnerable position.
The enemy also does have to somehwhat aim at the BRs that it is at.
It’s KD, Win rate and Kills per spawn have dropped substantially since it was moved to 11.7.
So yeah, Aim better and position better.
It’s damage model is still a joke and the ammo not detonating the internal sections when shot is bullcrap but the tank itselfs ERA is the literal least of the worries.

You most certainly can and do one tap BMPTs quite easily with most top tier rounds.
bar maybe BTA4 and L27A1 which can sometimes be a 2 shot requirement.
every single 11.3/11.7 for every tree can one tap BMPTs frontally
11.0 china can.
11.3 isreal.
11.7 UK can
11.7 USA can
11.7 japan can and they’re arguably the hardest to do with DM33.
11.7 Italy can.
All of these can easily kill a BMPT, providing you don’t sit and shoot it on the relikt.
Now we’re hitting that nail on the head.
The CAS and SPAA make then the literal strongest top tier nation. BMPT should have it’s damage model reworked and fixed, just making this stance absolutely clear.
However, now if you look their win rates are declining as is the KD.
The CAS and SPAA on teh other hand is just increasing, every month we see new stats they increase.
the moderness of a vehicle has literally no bearing on the game or BR placement the effectiveness does.
M1A1 is from what 85 or 85?
Yet it’s a much higher BR than the ZTZ 99II or type99G as it literally is a better MBT in game.
the 99 II being from the late 90s to early 2000s.
CR2 is at 11.7 yet at the same BR the M1A1 which went into service 12 years prior is there, why? becuase it’s a far more capable tank in game.
The KH38MT is about the only thing which is not an existing prototype which I know about in the russian tree.

I don’t know about BMD-4 and others, but it’s definitely a good change for BMPTs.
The gun being attached to the 100mm does help, but the dispersion is still quite high, as it also wiggles the 100mm cannon together with the gun. The accuracy also quickly decreases due to thermal expansion of the 30mm attached to the cooler 100mm gun which doesn’t expand
Again, it doesn´t apply if you cant retreat and re-evaluate.

It’s recent statistics as @MotorolaCRO has shown either here or on another thread show, while yes it’s Damage model is a joke and it’s guns ar etoo accurate, it’s not some unstoppable death machine.
