After I get M901, I’m wondering if da BMP-2MD is a good next pick. I’ve heard some very mixed reviews lol

Its not worth it, the russian bmp2 is the same thing but with a missile at that br. Which you pretty much need to kill armored vehicles, the only “buff” is the thermals.

DERP! If anyone saw my deleted message, I was totally confused about which vehicle, sorry lol.

SO, I do agree with @Sandwich1776 mostly, I will only say that it’s thermals are EXTREMELY good for its BR, being Gen 3’s for both gunner and commander: Ground Thermals – Thunder View

However, unless you are planning on playing Realistic and mainly scouting, with very occasional hard flanks shooting into MBT’s sides, you are really not going to do great in it. It also does not have IRST so you cannot lock onto air targets either.

So yeah, maxed out thermals is its only trick. Oh and even gen 1 thermals for its driver lol. So MAYBE it could be useful for Sim? 😂

You looking at only squad vehicles currently?

Ahh ok I looked at your service record to see what vehicles you have used so far:

This one will be quite a bit above the Tiers/BRs that you have played, and not sure if you have even started the Russian tree, but the BMP-2M is one of the absolute best squad vehicles in the game, imo, especially when only looking at Ground units.

Let me know if you are really only considering lower/mid level squad vehicles for now though.

If you want to see all of the current ground squad vehicles you can click on the links below see them on the wiki. Then, click on the “Status” drop down menu, then click “Squadron Vehicle”.

That will then show all of the Squadron Ground units: Ground Vehicles | War Thunder Wiki

You can then click on the “BR” column to sort by BR (or Rank, but imo BR is more useful.) You can also click on the other circled dropdown to display the BR’s for AB, RB, or SB:

Thanks! I have played Russia only to play the KV-2…so I have started it. I get the M901 today. Top 3 recommendations r Object 122 MC, BMP-2M, and the Hunter F.58. Also isn’t there like 4 squadron vehicles under rank 5?

You would have to check on the wiki 😉 Just have to sort each class of vehicle, can’t get a full full list combining Air+Ground etc.

Click on the “Rank” column instead of the “BR” column.

OR

You can click on the “Rank” drop down and highlight the ranks you want to SHOW, in order to hide the higher Rank vehicles:

Update: it took 5 days for me to get the rp gaursmteed to me every 3 days, but other it’s been smoothe, and obj122 looks amazing! Now I’m just debating on Mosquito B Mk.XVI(seems like broken), and Obj122(also seems broken)
