With the next major update, the bmd 4m2 will be added as the first bmd in the tech tree. This makes no sense. While it is nice to finally have a tech tree bmd its simply wrong to use the 4m2. The vehicle gaijin designated as bmd4m2 (not a real designation) was a single vehicle at an expo in 2017 which was used to show the sinitsa turret module which essentially is a modernised bmp 3 turret module modified to fit the bmd 4m. In my opinion the bmd 4m, as the vehicle that actually gets actively used by the russian military, should be in the techtree and the special one off demonstrator should the premium

While i know that switching a premium with a non premium isnt something you can do its something that in my opinion should still be done

The only thing that I could agree to complain is the fact that Gaijin is only adding a BMD vehicle to the tech tree now, years after the first vehicle was added—BMD-4. There’s a lot of things to complain but objectively complaining about a new content is another level.
As you know, BMD-4M isn’t going to be a tech tree vehicle, how is Gaijin supposed to compensate people that bought? With Golden Eagles? It’s a worthless currency compared to USD$ or whatever currency a user paid to buy the vehicle.

Couldn’t agree more. It makes absolutely zero sense for the production standard to be a premium while a one-off prototype is tech tree.
Though apparently most people don’t give a shit about anything but having the most meta vehicle.

Unique is not synonymous with meta, so stop using “meta” when you clearly mean the word “unique”. BMD4M is not and will never be meta.
Unique vehicles should be tech tree whenever possible.
I get you like spending money on unique vehicles, but the rest of us prefer them to be as accessible as possible.
