Only took them 4 years, 1 month, 23 days since their promise to add a TT one! Albeit an even worse one compared to the event bmd or the premium one! So it’s just a diet bmp 3. 3 years, 10 months, 25 days Since the last TT RU light tank yipee!

It’s literally been 4 years, 1 month, 23 days since they promised to add a TT one. “Why do they keep getting more and more?” Well if you include having to wait 1/3 of the game’s lifetime so far to be given a single light tank albeit an even worse version compared to the event one (and premium one) so long ago. Then you would still be wrong.

Again this was not the point of what he said, other nations deserve more light vehicles such as the US been stuck with only two Bradleys and both of them are so bad, there’s countless light vehicles with auto cannons that can be added but Gaijin still choose to add more and more to Russia, how many do they have again compared to other nations?

Most of light tank addition either are tank destroyers or support vehicles (CV90 105 TML) or infantry fighting vehicles.
Just because Gaijin reserves autocannons-based light vehicles for USSR this update and main battle tank for others doesn’t means there’s a special threatment, every tech tree recieves at least and mostly two vehicles (if it’s a premium bundled with a tech tree vehicle; e.g. F-2A and F-2A ADTW, with exceptions).
Last Major update the USSR recieved T-72B3A as main addition whereas Great Britain recieved the Badger infantry fighting vehicle, if you believe so, I don’t think there’s any pattern that USSR gets autocannons while other nation doesn’t.

If that is the way that op phrased it. I agree completely TT shouldn’t be asymetrical in terms of updates. For example: pantsir, mig 23, f14 , strv122 etc dominance for years upon years while not having any contemporary rival in game.
Sidenote: With the addition of this bmd ussr would have 4 TT Autocannon light tanks and the U.S currently has 4 TT Autocannon light tanks :/

You forgot to count how many BMPs and BMDs there are in the USSR tech tree, also where are the 4 autocannon light tanks that you count in the US tech tree?
This is literally the first tech [unlockable] tree BMD in USSR ever added.
This one has been ignored for as long as all other tech trees.
The balance is extremely noticeable, as all tech trees have IFVs with drones currently, or at least an autocannon tank where IFV isn’t possible [Begleit].

Awesome, I’ve been waiting for the tech tree BMD-4 ever since the event where it was added, definitely going to be playing this, and i reckon it’ll replace the BMP-2M in all my lineups past 9.3

HSTV-L is not a light vehicle but it’s a light tank. 2S38 also fits inside the “not a autocannon like BMD and Bradleys” due to the caliber, firerate and at the same time designation (as a SPAAG). And by other BMPs you mean BMP-2M?

Fire rate of up to 2 rounds per second/ 120 rounds per minute
Just because the FCS holds it back doesn’t magically turn it into a “bolt action” (yes im exaggerating)
2s38 fire rate is 120 rounds per minute, which you deem an autocannon.
Also, in all my posts I said TT= Tech tree. I didn’t include the 188$ worth of premiums as something the average person has access to.
And if you include premiums don’t forget your Rdf/lt with a 0.9sec reload.
