Blowout panels not working on the abrams and bug managers being weird?

With the recent silly changes to blowout panels on the abrams i have made 2 separate reports and got the same exact copy paste answer. I posted a clip where my crew got knocked out by ammorack when i only carried APFSDS. They refuse to answer what i present and just put a response that gets us nowhere. Is there actual evidence the abrams crew cannot survive an explosion from the ammo going off? They refuse to answer me properly, in my opinion.

becasue you were reloading

meaning the blast door was open so that the loader can get a new shell

meaning your crew will get hit by your ammo cooking off

APDS needs propellant - it is the propellant that gets ignite rather than the charge of HE shells.

But IMO even HE shells should be much more resistant to being ignited - they have much thicker walls and less filling than the propellant charges.

In tanks with 2 part ammunition it should be only the propellant storage that ignites.

Ah ok I wasnt aware this was a feature in game!

the blowout panel works fine when the tank isnt reloading

Yes i understand the propellant part but I’m not fully aware of the effects other than this test video from 1984 https://youtu.be/ChMGDZ0u5uY?t=124

Yeah but you made the ammo being APDS one of the reasons why it was a problem being ammoracked - so I was just addressing that.

I guess ive never been ammoracked when reloading before, thank you for this.

Yea my wording probably could have been better. I just kept seeing talk about HEAT and HESH rounds causing big explosions but nothing really on the APFSDS rounds.

Are you sure that is modeled in game? Since when, I don’t remember this.

ever since i started playing ground it was a thing (iam not a long time ground player), the thing is just that it is an increadibly rare occurance for someone to hit your ammo while you are reloading, in a way where it wouldnt breach the blast doors

Don’t remember that being a thing either tbh

Its realistic that you can put down that Fire? For the video i have see. That thing burn forever. Even dmg the engine in some case.

the timer you see isnt to put out that fire, that timer shows for how much longer the ammo will be burning and you cant do anything about it during that time

the update only made you conscious now

The idea that blow out panels are meant for fire not an explosion is some hoops of logic. When ammo is hit it will first detonate. This Explosion will then knock off the blowout panels directing the blast up and away from the crew.

The idea that HEAT shells. (Which point to the rear of the turret) will cause the doors to fail is nothing but an unsubstantiated myth.

Do you have footage of being hit and exploding during reload?

Even moreso the fact that NATO ammunition is functionally impossible to actually detonate, you need to directly contact the firing train of a round to cause it to properly detonate which is nearly impossible.

Meanwhile Russian ammo is at or below STANAG 1 rating meaning it goes off like a bomb if it so much as gets touched by a projectile.

This is why they decided to focus on blowout panels for all NATO tanks instead of the hundreds of bug and accuracy reports for the new problems created by the patch.

Can’t have RU weakness that western nations don’t have :D
