BI at 6.7 is April Fools event,. only it's going 24/7 for the last few years

OK, you’re clearly trolling. Have a good day and welcome to ignore list for a year. Ciao!

I am giving you information however you got trust issue on my experince.

you don’t get it, the BI is balanced bc he shot one down with a higher br jet in ground RB

I shot one down in a clipped wing spit, time to put the BI at 5.0 (do it Gaijin it’ll be funny)

I remember my first time encountering a BI… I don’t remember exactly if I was flying the P-51H or F8F-1B. I just remember this “thing” zipping around… the nametag/icon dancing around my screen and around my teammates in ways that seemed impossible.

I would make turns, twist and corkscrew, like physics simply didn’t apply to it. I’d seen Spits and Zeros, I thought I knew what good turning looked like… I didn’t. Still, though, I thought my teammates could use their superior numbers to take him down. Ah, I was so naive!

As I was flying towards this fur ball, I watched the BI not only climb away from my teammates… but he just kept climbing past my altitude as well… while going faster than me. Watching “the thing” zoom climb at a speed I couldn’t match level was… disheartening.

I play a lot of U.S. props - I am used to not being able to turn with other planes. I am used to “taking the turn fight = death.” I was completely unprepared for a plane that is also faster - in a climb, in a dive, level. Impossible to escape, impossible to catch.

Sadly, I don’t usually know someone is flying one until the match develops - and by then it’s too late to escape. Now, in fairness, I guess it must be balanced because my team beat one the other day - we managed to win a 5 v. 1 after forcing head on passes and only lost 3 planes! Perfectly balanced.

Somehow i feel the need to fly the He 162 and 262 A-2a. But i remembered why i stopped playing them: The BI at 6.7

So i created this:

… the worst part though is they’re terrible in the most busted plane in the game (is the rafale more busted? hmm…)

The logic is that it only has 2 minutes of fuel so that it can’t go fast for very long. It also has little ammo, so anyone using has to be very skilled otherwise it will be a useless plane

It can cruise at something like 720kph IAS on 30% thrust, that burns fuel at something like 1/10th of 100% thrust. that make you fuel last a long time.

If you manage to only fly for 2 minutes then you’re already dead, shaped like a pancake on the ground. You HAVE to lower throttle to not die, and lowering throttle lets you fly for well over 25 minutes.
When you have infinite energy, low ammo count is irrelevant because you can execute anybody with one or two taps, while parked behind them.

Depeding on the fuel amount and alt, the plane can reach way over 700km/h with throttle settings that allow it to fly for the entire match, since the engine efficiency rises more the more you reduce the throttle. You reduce throttle 4 times, you get like 20 times better longevity (you have 25% thrust with 5 times smaller fuel consumption per unit of thrust).
Of course no real life rocket engine can do that. This is pure soviet magic.

It was a very big mistake to add Bereznyak-Isaev in game at all. It should never fight against props, so it should be at least 8.0
IDK how balancing system based on statistics works, but I’m sure that guy with 5000+ battles on Bi with just 2500 kills that often dies in first headon compensate all clubbers that fly it

I mean, if only Soviets f.e. lacked quality pre-Korean era jets. But nope, Su-9, Yak-15, Yak-17, Su-11 and others are all more than adequate. It’s not like Germany where, basically domestic design ended in 1944, so Me-163 made kind of sense (I would love to see it removed, though).
BI was impossiblento properly balance by definition. But initially it was just super frustrating. Now you know he’ll end you, unless he’s an absolute muppet.
And then BI drags people into AF AAA anyway, for the double wombo-combo of scumbaggery.

I’m bad at math but even I can understand this is deeply unserious.

Please link his IGN I need to see his replays and laugh my ass off.

Just ground pound bro :^)

Should have said “longevity”, efficiency is only 5 times better.
Anyway, yeah, it’s kinda unserious how Gaijin maths work.

6k matches 3k kills, BI will be at 6.3 soon thanks to him :3

So basically at 6% of max fuel consumption (assuming max is 360kg/m) you get 30% of max thrust?
Yup, makes perfect sense!

It’s not surprising, I know in the 163 I managed to glide back some absurd distance just by throttling to 5% once in a while.

IMO BI, 163 and ki-200 should just stay at a BR they suffer. Simply because you simply cannot balance them, they turn extremely well, they have nearly infinite energy, ultra low stall speed, AND they are small and hard to hit.
Rocket absurd efficiency while completely unrealistic allows people that want to take them in 8.0+ to use them so it may as well stay.
