The current missile camera feels off and could definitely be improved.
Right now, when trying to view the missile, the camera doesn’t feel centered or immersive. Instead of a clean, stable perspective, positioned in a strange way.
It would be much better if:
- The missile camera was properly centered on the screen
- The view felt more “attached” to the missile
- The zoom/FOV was more natural, without the distant feeling
- Smooth camera tracking
- A little extra polish (Sound & effects)
A smoother, more centered missile camera would make the overall experience a lot better.
Additionally, it would be amazing to see more detail on the missile itself:
- Visible control surfaces (fins) actively moving during flight
- Thrust vectoring animations on missiles that support it

that and the ability to track missiles fired by other class of vehicles and not just aircrafts would be great

emm… how to u missile camera again…
Naval? maybe. ground vehicles hell no, would give a massive advantage to vehicles with rockets/atgms and you could easily scout the entire battlefield. Maybe for Spaa?
what is the setting called :)
‘Tracking camera: Bomb/Torpedo’ under common keybinds

I think even with spaa’s you could scout the battlefield fairly easily. But maybe a timer, for some seconds (When the missile has exited the battlefield) only then could you use the tracking camera.
Honestly missile tracking camera should not be a thing in-game other than where it should be, which is replay.

SPAA + Ships were indeed the one i was mostly refering to, i agree on the “rocket issue” part (although in some capacity the issue you describe already axists on helis imo)
On a missile going 600m/s+, i bet the angular speed would be too important to do anything.
Also if by scouting you mean marking an enemy, the ability to scout could just be de-activated when in missile camera i guess
