Best US premium fighter for SB

Hello everyone. I’m unsure which U.S. premium aircraft to choose to start grinding the entire tech tree.
I’m considering the F-4S Phantom II or the F/A-18C Early.

I intend to use it only in Simulator mode.

The main points I’ve noticed are that the F/A-18C is superior, but only in the 11.7 to 12.7 and 12.0 to 13.0 rotations. Above that, it starts facing many aircraft equipped with ARH missiles, which makes gameplay quite difficult.

The F-4S has HMS, but I’m not sure how useful that is since it doesn’t have all-aspect missiles.

Any suggestions?

you cant kill what you or your radar cant detect.
Choose what does that best.
Or go undetected and achieve your mission/target.
Remember unless you are low, you cant detect what is low.
In which case decide whether you want to go high or low and choose the appropriate aircraft.

it is quite useful in sim battles because it means less hassle with radar, plus you dont always need rear aspect missiles, you have aim9H for rear aspect and aim7F for front aspect
