I,m about to get the US 6.7, what’s the best? T26E5, T26E1-1, M26, M41, others? Consider I grind the US tree for the M26 family XD.
m26 is a medium tank but m26 heavy variants are just built different. you will like it
The E series on M26s are great, paired with the T34 and you’ll got arguably one of the strongest line ups in the US tech tree at its BR, it’s a very strong bracket to play. The guns are very capable and the armour is more reliable than alot of vehicle. You will very much enjoy this area of the tech tree imo. However it will dip off hard around the 7.7/8.0 area and then pick up again at 9.3 to 10.7 imo.

T34 works the best for me, good optical zoom, three 50 cal, good armor especially turret protection and having one of the best main cannon in its respective br, never even feel week when uptier to 7.7.
Whenever I decided to bring it out, this was the beast’s K/D before I logged off

By all means you don’t have to spend any money on this game, but it you get 2 of the M26s I’d consider getting the T29 premium when it’s on sale as its a very strong tank to grind with if you’ve already got a premium account, id full recommend it, but the financial decision is yours. The line is very strong without it.
M26 slaps, but the T34 is the best 6.7 vehicle period.
T26E5 is far from one of the best and most versatile tanks in its battle rating and in the US tech tree, it says it’s a heavy tank but act most as a medium tank, the mobility, armor and firepower is ok for its type of vehicle.
At the same br, you can choose to use the T26E5, technically it’s better everywhere as you don’t die to every 88mm and overall feels like a direct upgrade to M26, it has even more advantage in a full downtier and the armor still works vs 7.7s especially soviet 122mm literally has issues going through the front armor.
Don’t play the M26. Play the T26E5, T26E1-1, T34, and the Bulldog, M50, M56, whichever light tank suits you.
I’m playing M56 ,M50,T34,T26E5 ,T26 E1-1 .I have the X box premium Corsair as CAS which I switch out to the Bulldog sometimes . The M41A1 has been very good at 6.7
All of it felt terrible with no mods it really did but I found I just get massive down tiers as USA 6.7 and fight mostly Tiger 1 and Panthers etc.
The M56 is poor until it gets HEAT FS where it can be a lot of fun
T34 is pretty awesome even with the ammo it has .Again wait until its modded to judge it. T26E1-1 was painful to play until it was modded then it became a favourite.
I would avoid the M26. You sacrifice a lot of armor for very little mobility. The other tanks at 6.7 are quite decent and have it’s own unique playstyle. In a lineup I would use T34, T26E5, T26E1, M50 and the Skink.
Of course you would also CAS aircraft. The AM-1 and P-51H are my two go-to planes.
6.7 is one of the best brs for the US. I would invest some time in it.

the T26E5 is my fav
It’s in a bit of a tricky spot right now. It’s the same thing with the Tiger 2p. It’s not 6.7 material but it’s really powerful at 6.3.
Honestly the M26 should be replaced with the M46 but with no heat. It’s a much faster vehicle

personally just get m26 down, it isnt much faster than the T26e1-1 or T26E5
