Best thermals color for gen 1

Whats the best thermal color to use for gen 1 thermals? I’ve tried green and white but not red yet. I feel green is somewhat better than white but I’m not sure

This is just going off of memory (hearsay), but I’m pretty sure green is the best for contrast but white is better for object recognition, hence most militaries switching over to white thermals.

The standard white. It’s easier to spot vehicles with it.

I use red, doesn’t hurt the eyes.

For gen 1 thermals, I use white, but black hot. It really adds to the experience of using gen 1 thermals.
