Im a usa main I technically have a vehicle for 8.7 air and ground
I feel like you need to expand on what you want.
Are you asking for best squadron vehicle overall?
Or asking for best squadron vehicle for US main or specifically for 8.7 lineup?
Any usa top tier or mid tier i see that usa doesnt get much air squadron vehicles
For Air, taking into account BR and the matchmaker it faces, the best is the MiG-29M at 13.7, lots of downtiers when playing 13.7 lately.
The F-16A OCU is also quite good for 12.7 but the matchmaker sucks, currently you will face mostly uptiers.
For ground, I enjoyed the VT5 a lot, but BR-matchmaker wise, probably the bishima would be my choice. The british 10.7 lineup is quite good.

Things fluctuate depending on time and servers for sure, but from my experience, its best to either play 12.3 or 13.3-13.7 if you want to avoid constant uptiers.
Also, because the 12.7 standard vs the 13.0 standard is already a big difference in performance, not to mention the 13.3+ fox3 carriers with good FMs. BR compression is insane around 12.7-13.3.
Sad, because I spent a lot of time with 12.7 jets last year, it was one of my favourite BRs with lots of different jets to play
I would have said Su-33, but that’s probably too difficult for new players to use well
And it will face 13.3 and 13.7 all the time, although it’s a good jet for its own BR, just a tad worse than the su-27
I would argue better, due to RWR and higher R-27ER count
