Best premiums to buy in Germany

If you like to grind Germany but doesnt want to suffer from slow research and likes premium tanks like me, read this.

Best budget German premiums to buy on sale:
-TAM 2IP (8910-4550 GE)
-Leopard L44 ($79-$40)
-PZBTL 123 ($89-$45)
-TURM III. ($69-$35)
*Canadian money

Check War Thunder news for discount codes, and sales. Remember these prices can change because of inflation (Today is : Jan.7.2026) or devs trying to monetize their game. Be careful of what you spend.

How War Thunder sales work:

  1. Announcement of sales > GE vehicle sale > Packs sale.
  2. Moments of valor > sale on vehicles featured.
  3. Redeem discount > sale for 3% off or more.
  4. Receiving battle trophy > get one vehicle sale.
  5. Clicking content creator sale > get discount on decals or vehicles.
  6. Redeem bonus > sale on specific vehicles. (SPECIAL OCCASTIONS)

Some vehicles may not be on sale, if it happens, it means its a very popular vehicles (e.g TURM III, K9 VIDAR, M1 KVT) and the devs are encouraging players to buy it on full price, or its a very new premium vehicles that has been added.

Want toxic OP options then the two best are Turm 3 and tam 2.

oh and the captured tanks, russia mains dont know how to shoot russian stuff & a churchill is always a good option

Avoid the PZBTL 123 as the terminator makes it hard using this premium.

Tam and leopard 2 are the best long term solutions.

Buy the Turm if you want hypocrites to criticize you while using French and British vehicles with stabs and auto loaders.

Definitely TURM in my opinion.

Ah yes the double standard. Brits have stabs, the French have autoloaders bit you get callled a hypocrite for pointing out the TURM III with both is undertiered.

Especially when the french autoloaders stop at 8.0 and you only get stabs at 9.3 which means a lot of the french stuff fighting the TURM has neither.

Highly depends on who you want to adress this advice to because if to new players, neither of these is good idea.

Like the AMX-50s arent amazing or the Falcon just ripping though tanks and getting nukes(a tank which was even lower for years somehow)

Not to mention that absolute broken T58 we have now.

But Germany has the Turm and its worst thing ever. So yeah, hypocrites complain non stop about the TURM while ignoring their own broken vehicles.

TURM has both while being more mobile. and having the XM800T gun as a coaxial MG

*Falcon

the shells it fires gives it more xm800t performance over the falcon/DCA

It has the exact same gun as falcon, with same ammo as Falcons stock belt.

30mm
falcon

I think i got mixed up with CLOVIS then.

youre right, its worse than i was saying

dw

its nuts TURM is 8.3 when the Leopard I sits at 8.0, yes.

They are. But not nearly as good as the TURM is.

Agreed the falcon should probably be moved or have it’s belts changed

and there are people complaining and threads about wanting it to go up to 8.7 or even 9.0 ever since it was added.

As I already said the AMX series is not broken (they all got moved up to an appropriate BR long ago (even then AMX M4 recently got moved up). Not sure about the falcon might just not be as common… And the T-58 has had people complaining since introduction.

I don’t really see your argument holding that much water.

Tiger 2 SLA.
Leopard A1A1 L/44.
2A4M.
Ru-251.
CLOVIS.
Porshe Tiger.
KW1C.
Two Fronts Pack.
KWII.
T34.
Brummbar.

Ru-251 I use as my primary 7.7 MBT, it’s really good.

It’s simple fact, people will defend the T58 while condemning the Turm.

People botched when the AMX-50 was being moved up and it’s honestly still amazing at its current BR.

Falcon is still sitting where it is.

My argument is a simple one, because it’s not a argument, like I said, I’m pointing out the hypocritical viewpoints.

And people will condemn the T-58 while defending the TURM.

Bro, ain’t no one defending the Turm.

It’s all hypocrites
