Two battles in row where bluewater both finish in 5 or less minutes. Everyone in the battle loses connection and team wins who had better tickets at that time. It happens too ofhen. Please focus your effort to fix this issue. Other game modes like air, ground are not impacted. Even when i played lower BR 3.3 castal fleet it did not happen. Big ships have something that cause crash battle session. I cant count how many boosters i lost in that way.
Another bug from “Apex Predators” update. After mentioned update, the battle server crashed so many times, I can’t even count them all. It’s probably related to so many other bugs added to the game, and one or a few of them can crash the server from time to time.
From player perspective, server crash usually starts with “Connection to server is lost” message for a few seconds. Then every player in the battle gets “Bad network connection” message and if they stay in the battle, they will be disconnected. At this moment, it’s best to just press alt+f4, and reload the game.
In that time, the server will recover and you will be able to join it again. After joining, you will see that everyone (beside players who already reconnected) are out of the battle:
This particular battle crashed right at the beginning of the battle. But you can see in my team only one player (beside me) is connected to the server. In the enemy team there are no players currently connected.
I never saw this kind of battle server crashes in the past. It started happening right after Apex Predators update.
Unfortunately, this was ignored and no one did anything to fix this issue. The funny thing is that the devs still have no idea why Naval is such an unpopular game mode.
Imagine if the “Apex Predators” update added this bug to Ground or Air game modes. I bet it would be fixed within a week. Especially they know exactly which parts of the code they added/changed in this particular update, so tracking this bug shouldn’t be a problem at all. But they simply don’t care about Naval.
Some time ago they added a system where battles end much sooner when there are no active players. That’s why nowadays you usually won’t be able to reconnect to the server, the battle will be already over (due to no active players as all were disconnected from the server).
If you want to play Naval, you have to accept living with this bug. But yeah, this bug is very annoying. It’s probably on their TODO list, but it may take a few more years before they finally start working on it.
There are a lot of annoying bugs in Naval that haven’t been fixed for years. This is not the only one.
Each time i tried reconnect but battle was over quicker. That’s interesting research to do by Devs to figure out when and where it happens.

This issue mosly happens at the beggining of battle (first 5 min). Each very short Bluewater battles should go to the investigation to collect statistics when they cant find reason on server side.
Just be prepared that your report will probably be closed as a duplicate or even marked as not a bug by a bug moderator (who is not a dev, so it will never reach the devs). Bug reporting system in this game is a very hard topic I don’t even want to comment here.
If you don’t mind to potentially waste a bit of your time, I suggest to make a new bug report about this. In the best case scenario your bug report will be forwarded to the devs and maybe it will remind them that this problem is still not fixed. In the worst case scenario, at least you will learn how the bug reporting system works in this game.
