Is the replay the client version or the Server version?
The Server version is the correct replay to go to for things like this (It can be found on the main website).
The protection analysis is good for general things but isn’t really precise enough to use in this way. Additionally some things has some randomness to them, like shrapnel for example, so the analysis can be different from shot to shot. It’s also almost impossible to re-create a shot exactly with pixel perfect angle and speed of the projectile.
The client replay is often correct but does have some discrepancies due to packet-loss/lagg/etc. So can’t be 100% trusted either.
Hit simulation i actually don’t know how that is collected and stored so i can’t answer for that one.
server replay screenshots are same as the client replay , tank critically damaged and crew intact
but on protection analysis the crew is doomed everywhere around the particular hit point the missile hits…
Hit simulation outcome is totally wrong on most cases and i think that confuses the players. It should be deleted since it cant provide true simulation of the actual game shots

I’ve tried and a majority of times yes, but not always.
Perhaps 9/10 shots (or more) gets the crew.
I would bug report it instead to hopefully get it correct, why remove a feature is wrong instead or correcting it? You can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)
