It’s a variant that actually differs from the existing ones at least, unlike most of the other planes we got in the last couple of passes

Woah Mariner. It won’t really be that good (see the ships having cracked AA) but it’ll be cool.
If only we had a mode that needed proper recon flights for ships. Unfortunately we can’t have that because ships are slow

I do agree - especially the landing gear should be useful to land, repair and j out - so the main disadvantage of flying boats (=You can’t leave after repairing as you have always an airspawn after repairing) vanishes - no need to fly 1 vs 6-8 in a clumsy and very large target if the rest of your US team managed to die.

If the airframe is ~85% similar to the original, then I consider it a copy paste. (Also why I hate tandem seaters as event vehicles, since they’re just such lazy additions)

So every BF109 after the BF109 B-1, every Spitfire after the Mk.1, every Mustang after the original P-51, etc are all copy paste? What a weird definition for copy paste.

Its do able if you use terrain for cover. Easier for torps than bombs since you have some stand off. Big flying boats like this have the advantage in being able to carry a full spread of them instead of just one.
But really they are most fun in capping an unattended point.
If you’d read it properly, you would see its rank III.

Recorded as a kamikaze pilot. this boat is flying barely 300km an hour. Any rank 2 fighter will shoot you down 5km from the respawn point

Well it seems like my dementia is getting worse.
They’re all extremely similar and easy to make, and although they do bring new things to the table, there’s much more unique aircraft and prototypes that I would rather see added instead. These are little effort vehicles, and I’m tired with the sheer quantity of them.
(Especially that last event plane Yak-3… eeeesh…)
Which skin will we get? Any ideas? Did the coastguard use them?
