FM is kind of a stupid ahistorical designation, why not just say T-44 (Early) like with every single other vehicle?

Please please PLEASE take out the ships from the Battle Trophy!! It’s clear nobody wants them, and it’s not fair that the first air reward trophy has a higher chance of getting a ship then a plane

I think “T-44-85 (Early)” would make more sense, with the “Late” models referring to the second pair of initial prototypes now armed with the S-53 cannon and new driver port that is halfway between the tank we’re getting in the BP and the production model we already have in-game.
Nonetheless I see your point, Gaijin’s designations are quite strange, with “FM” probably meaning “First Model” or something along those lines.
Some people actually play naval so having naval BP vehicles Is expected
Yeah and that’s been fine when the crate replaced the naval reward, but when it replaces the air reward we should see a majority of the vehicles included be aircraft, not boats again

It did not replace the air reward, it gets switched around like this.
M46 BP was Plane and Tank
Sholef BP was Plane and Tank
He 177 A-3 BP was Plane and Ship
T-44 BP Boat and Tank
I like the old system more but what can we do.
We’re not even getting a new Battlepass plane this season, and there’s already a ship in this upcoming Battlepass. Also I get people play naval, but realistically Gaijin knows that it’s their least popular mode and that most players don’t want ships. Which is why their drop rates in crates tend to be higher.

From current Loot boxes I gained a Object 292 and 2 decals for atleast 5 mil max spend, it seems to drop more because of the ship rewards in there.
It has literally replaced the air reward for this BP, what are you on about?
Last BP it replaced the naval reward, instead of getting a new ship we got the crate with 3 old ships + a tank. This BP we have the crate instead of a new aircraft, but instead of the crate having a majority aircraft it’s still a majority of ships.
Like the crate doesn’t have to be entirely made up of whatever type of vehicle it has replaced for that BP, just have a majority of it be that type of vehicle. All they would have to do is swap out one of the ships with an aircraft and it would be fine. Then with the next BP if they swap it to a tank crate then it should have 2 tanks, 1 plane and 1 boat.

More T-44 variants are nice, this unique prototype/early production vehicle is a breath of fresh air compared to the (very boring) French M46.
However, I’m holding out for the most interesting T-44 variant, the T-44MS prototypes. It has been suggested here before. They were based off of the T-44M which had the T-54 drivetrain and running gear. The MS was equipped with a two plane stabilizer. It would have had access to modern HEAT-FS rounds like those found in game with the ASU-85. The second prototype also had night vision capabilities.

It’s obviously an intentional decision to screw over the majority of people so that they gamble and engage with the game more, with the side benefit of them maybe playing naval with their new ship they didn’t want. Gaijin knows that people don’t want ships. I mean, I actually like playing naval, but from the queue times and the lack of gameplay variety other than point-and-click, an event naval vehicle serves no one other than Gaijin to be loot-crate padding to lower the chances of people getting the vehicle they actually want.

I would much rather take the m46, this bp vehicle UD more intriguing but going to be bad
If it was a 5.7, 6.0 it may be better… worthless as the last few bps.
