Doing anything impacts income. But you know, direct income per player is not everything. Had they made Battle Pass any more appealing i am pretty sure the number of player buying the BP would compensate them well for that tiny loss of income from market fee for those 2 vehicles.
You can’t buy any more than 1 of those crates, so the vehicle being random doesn’t add to gaijin’s income directly in any way. All they get is 15% market fee from people buying Garlands and Hedgehogs. It’s really not that much money in the grand scheme of things.
Players have sold around 150 Garlands within last few days, for more or less 7,5€ each. That gives a grand toral of 1125€. And since gaijin gets 15% of that money, it provides them with absolutely astonishing income of 168,75€.
Let’s be real, this is nothing for company like Gaijin. You could compensate for that with only like 10-15 players more buying the BP. You could probably get this much by adding a cool decal, let alone fixing one of the most frustrating BP mechanics
I don’t know how you get that idea. Every GJN floating into the market is a dollar in their pocket. So if people now buy 8 GJN for a Garland, Gaijin gets 8$ now.
Why do that when same players would pay way more for the T44 in the market?
It doesn’t work like that. Every Gaijin spent on the market by players is technically 1€ in their pocket, but remember player who was selling the item on the market gets 85% of the final price on his account to spend on anything in the game.
It is still in gaijin’s pocket, but if a player buys a tank for 60gjn he got from selling something else, he will no longer buy it for 60€ later on, thus reducing gaijin’s income by what he has on his account in form of Gjn.
Pure income gaijin gets from market is only the 15% fee from each sale.
The remaining 85% also goes back to them in the end, but it cuts down on their potential income from other packs later on. It’s really hard to estimate how much do they actually get from the market, since there is also a possibility that a player wouldn’t buy that 60€ pack anyway if he didn’t have Gjn, but anything besides 15% fee can no longer be considered pure income.
And then again, even if they had those 1125€ as pure income, it’s still nothing for company like them. You could make that up by additional 100 people buying the BP which is close to nothing for the size of this community
And then again, why would anyone ever buy the T-44 from the market? It’s trash. Unless it gets moved down to 6.0 it will have as much value as He 177 or Sholef, which is about as much as the price of Battle Pass, but without any grind what so ever
Because it is a tank, it is russian,…
I don’t know why people would want the Tandem MAI either, but after a while, they obviously do, and pay more for the insurance to get the tandem MAI than for the entire pass.
Besides, how much unused GJN may be out there at the moment? That is free capital you never have to pay back.
Sure but have ask are you also saying they don’t also want the money from any other income streams? Regardless of how small an income they may generate if it costs them nothing to put in place.
Sure a couple of people will be unhappy, but given the response those unhappy people are in the overwhelming minority in reality so who do you think will be catered for?
The “20” people complaining crates should get a choice on the forum who’re still playing the game anyway, or the data that gaijin holds that says introducing X into the game results in “100” players giving a bit more money than they would have had and a few more people playing the game for more too probably as a result
It doesn’t just benefit them now either, it sets up a situation to benefit from players who’re willing to pay like this going fowards too and likely as a result invest more time and again more money into the game further down the line
You say we are the minority hmm? If that’s the case we should be represented more not less.
Just because not every one takes to the forums to voice their opinion, doesn’t mean that they’re okay with this.
I’ve seen many many many people scream in game in the text chat, that the fox should be nerfed, it’s op, it’s broken, etc. yet none of them came to the forums did they?
I would generally expect the battle pass main prize to drift into rank V shortly. Some already did end up in rank V. A mediocre rank IV premium isn’t going to draw much interest these days. Rank V offers so much cut& paste potential. I’d say that is where the future is.
No offence, but I don’t think Frankentank(gameplay-wise) of T-44-122 and T-34-85(D-5T) has any kind of uniqueness. :|
Other BP rewards (SL, Boosters, etc.) barely make it worthwhile to buy BP at a minimum level if we consider the less grinding time in the game.
But IMO, every battle pass comes out after they replaced 38lv naval reward to [random box that guarantees you to get something which you don’t have] gets less attractive and stale overtime.
For a BP system that requires no real effort to level 75, while giving over 4x the value back on the initial investment while most games BPs at most give 2x value with more of a grind… I’d say we’re treated better.
This T-44 is going to be terrible. Even with BR-367 it should be only 6.0
It isn’t going to have the armor to stop anything, unless it’s under a long 88mm and they hit the literal only armored part of the tank.
I’m sure it will have terrible gun depression as they all do, being either -3 or -5.
Reload will probably be 7.5 secs aced.
Turret rotation speed will be interesting to see.
Acceleration is probably not going to be any good…
I’m still not seeing why I’d want this 6.3, knowing full well it will somehow become a 6.7, just as the obj. 248 did, and that tank got so many nerfs! I never even play it because the only benefit over the IS-2 is the reload…
So this T-44 No.1 will be a slightly more armored T-34-100… not worth it…
So you think the voice of a few players should outweigh the silent majority not calling for what the minority are and are happily playing the game not affected enough to ever come and say anything about it. I think your expectations are way too self centred there tbh and unrealistic.
If people don’t come to the forum or make reports directly then gaijin doesn’t know any different about those people tbf so for all intents and purposes their complaints don’t exist.
So if people aren’t voicing in the majority that can be seen and heard where gaijin takes any notice then as much as your anecdotal claims may be true, the message to gaijin isn’t ever going to be that until those same people actively go to gaijin and let them know through the channels to do that.
You’re expecting a company to listen a to a very few people pretty much (I was being massively generous with 20 btw, it’s more like 5 of you) telling them not to make money cos it makes a visibly tiny amount upset
