Whats the tip on Capturing bases in AirRB?

There is no much maps with flags which I’d seen recently

What “capturing bases” in AirRB? Which Battle Pass task require you to “capture bases” in AirRB?

He’s probably talking about these challenges. If you read too quickly you can miss the fact that it’s in Arcade

Yes, this.

In fact is what happened, even changed the game to english cause I tought was some typo.
Its indeed only arcade. Thanks

I expected more specific tip on that Air AB challenge part. Which BR is recommended?

But today I came across Afganisthan with an A point to capture in airRB, but in 13.7 good luck lol

You can’t capture that, the ground units are supposed to do that. If you land there, nothing happens.

You used to and I am pretty sure rarely you still get the neutral airfields you can capture.

Any news on if the He-177’s will have their drag coefficient for the Flaps reworked? The Battlepass Event Reward is amazing but the issues with the aircraft currently make it slightly less desirable.
Currently ingame the He-177’s are able to carry 3/4 of their maximum bombload as an option, however when taking off the aircraft barely has the power to surpass drag from the takeoff flaps at 200kmh which is not enough speed to take off in normal length rwy’s. Meanwhile irl it is very well quoted as having (as shown ingame) a limit of 10,000kg. If we gain this payload in future we won’t be able to takeoff. Similarly an empty He-177 has to use 80-95% throttle just to have a consistant approach when using landing flaps for landing because they produce so much drag.

This could be seen as a design an accurate flaw if true, but considering aircraft like the B-29’s have flaps of comporable size and attack angle into the airflow, they do not have these issues I can only presume it’s a mistake on how much drag was added to the flaps model wise.

I could be entirely wrong, but looking at historical figures involving payload and tests by the RAF never mentioning horrific flap characteristics involving far too much in power demand from the engines on landings or takeoff, I presume it is not intended by Gaijin either.

I will go 3.7 rank 3.

Lower BRs are more “active” in battles. Also, with a Spitfire or something similar (with a lot of engine) might be easy if the flag is Landing to cap.

There are lots of modes with base capture in lower level Air AB - either airfields or “airspace” - if there’s airfields then often 1 is close to each side and one in the middle - the close ones are easy to get, and all of them often change sides several times in a game.

The limiting factor in those games will often be killing a ground unit - bombers such as B18’s, B7A’s etc diving from on high at 750kph will kill lots of them before you can get there as a fighter

My advice is to prioritise getting a ground unit first - then do the other bits.

Hounds of Fury challenge question:
Does it count score only for the vehicle itself, or for the entire lineup where the vehicle has been spawned?

EDIT: I just tested it and good news everyone. Score counts for the entire match as long as you spawn one of the required vehicles.
