So I was away from war thunder for a while to the point that someone was able to access my account and change my username to some russian name. I did not know of this only until a few weeks later when I got a notification someone activated a redeem code on the account. After which I went and changed my password and paid the 2 dollars to change my username back to what it was and redownloaded the game to see if I lost anything while they were on the account. I come back only a few days later (being now) that I was banned.
That’s your answer why the ban. If they accessed and changed the username, there is a good chance they also used some illegal modification (hack) to play the game.
Agreed, now if he wants to recover it, go make a support ticket, and prove you were the owner and the person who access was not you.
