Description: The Baglietto FCC15 Lanciamissili is a small Italian patrol missile armed patrol craft from the Baglietto Navy. This ship is a part of the Combat Boat 15 family, a rather small and fast boat designed to perform a lot of different tasks in a quite large amount of different variants. It was presented for the first time in 2023 as a cheap solution to solve various requirements, such as coast patrol, litoral defense, troop landing, and various civilian roles like firefighter, ambulance, etc. The Italian Navy for now ordered two ships of this class in the basic variant, equipped with only a 12.7 mm lionfish turret on the top of the control room. But the one presented here is the most powerful class of this family, the costal defense one. Presented for the first time in cooperation with MBDA at SeaFuture 2023, the combat version is fitted with a 12.7 mm Lionfish turret like the initial version but with the addition of two Marte MK2/N anty ship missiles. The Marte MK2N is the costal (or ship-based) version of the Marte MK2S, the classic helicopter-launched version of the Marte MK2 missile family. Like the helicopter-based version, the Marte MK2N is a modern 30 km range fire and forget anty ship missile. It features an initial inertial mid-course navigation through way points, an active radar terminal homing, and can strike its targets with a 70 km semi-armour-piercing HE warhead. After the Combat version was presented for the first time at SeaFuture 2023, the boat was not seen again, and so far no navy has ever ordered this specific version.
Why it should be in game: Giving it’s missile amount and it’s secondary armaments, I can see this boat at a br around 5.0-5.3, since it’s missiles will be able to sink destroyers and cruisers (unlike Saetta’s Nettuno) but at the same time it will be able to carry only two of them and many times it would need to stay near a cap point in order to reload and so it will have to risk a lot in order to fire again since it has basically 0 secondary weapons.
