BAe Sea Harrier - Technical data and discussion

What on earth has happened in here?!

He won’t accept the fact that I’m correct

If you went through and input any values that I provided the performance would match the E-M chart

The inputs are from primary sources

Then what is the input for STR?

I told you try 12 AOA

Cl .795

14,500 thrust

Drag .105

This is for .6 Mach

Sep should be close to 0

Reaction? Do you think the manual is wrong and it should be even better?

Lmao remember this doesn’t include the pylons and gunpod drag

So reaction I’m most likely correct

So if we included the gun pods and pylons then it would be worse. So what do you think its turn rate should be at this speed? What do you think the load factor for SEP 0 is?

Like 5.2 ish and the gun pods and pylons don’t effect the STR of the harrier enormously

The ODM suggests that it will sustain only about 1000 lbs of lift less then without

And 31 sep is tiny

I do not think you are understanding this correctly. Here let me put it in perspective.
Do you think Harrier should sustain 6.5G at heavy loading?

If you look at the E-M it already sustains an obvious amount over 6 brotato

At 400 knots?

You put in 5.25 G and got a Sep of just 31 assuming the aircraft is clean mate

It’s not increasing by over 1 G with just 31 Sep available

Explain it then.

Looks like you changed it maybe

What did I change to get SEP to equal 0. Use your big brain.

lol unless you cropped it to make it seem like you still have a leg to stand on

There is no crop. Only one input into the equation has been changed.

Hard to believe

If it gave only a Sep of only 31 at the G with the data I provided that’s hardly enough to change it that much buddy

I could maybe at most see it going to 5.5 or so with such little SEP available at 5.25
