Bug report accepted to fix top speed.

Lmao you realize that report isn’t for a sea harrier right?

At the same time the report to increase its sustained turn rates has also been accepted.

And as the Sea Harrier goes

A report to give the Harrier 1s unlimited AOA even at high speeds was passed (also increasing the buffet onset to 40 degrees AOA vs 16)

I wonder if they will ever fix the thrust

Will accelerate at almost 1G at .55 Mach AOA 0 degrees with the flaps at MID
That would be around 8 M/S in forwards acceleration

In game we get a whole 2.8 M/S

@Gunjob is acceleration a value that can even be reported?

You would have to calculate acceleration yourself based on change in speed over time, rather than rely on WTRI, but I can’t see why not.

Acceleration in M/S is also on Local host

Would that be accepted?

Doing it for speed changed over time would create a lot of room for error.

If it’s local host I assume it is fine then. Thought it was one of those values WTRTI calculates like SEP.

nvm it was climb in meters a second labeled Vy

Should take approximately 5 seconds to accelerate from 366 knots to 433.

Takes 10-11 in game. The medium speed acceleration of the Harrier effectively needs to be doubled.

Pretty sure it should only get AS.37 anti-radar Martels, not the TV guided AJ.168. I’ve not seen anything to suggest the Harrier was compatible with the datalink pod, and every aircraft which was known to be compatible with AJ.168 had at least two crew, with the second crew member flying the missile (flying Martel was hard enough by itself, without also having to fly the plane).

@Panther2995

The FA.2 radar isn’t tiny by any means it’s the Blue Vixen it went on to become the ECR-90 in the EFT.

So saying a Sea Harrier radar would struggle against an Eagle is nonsense.

Blue vixen is predecessor of current EFT’s radar which is worse than F-15’s radar in most way.

This is like saying F-15A is almost as good as F-15EX in terms multirole capabilities because they share the same design.

It’s stated as being one of the best radars in the world for its day lol.

Arguing that the FA.2 radar is bad is just silly.
