Gunsight is in ATG gunsight HUD mode though however that’s where the CCIL is
Do wish we could kept the old hud or just used the one on harrier 2 until it was finished. not having gun indication kneecaps me in a dogfight.

Maybe. But the addition of radar and IR symbology is much bigger imo. But why they didnt just give it a usable fixed sight as a placeholder until the finished EEGS is really crazy

I mean a normal crosshair gunsight. im only using guns once I’ve bled a target into really low speeds so just a normal gunsight is what I want and use

There is CCIP gun symbology for the FRS1 fully modeled and there should be a fixed distance gun sight for A2A but its bugged and from what Gunjob has said. is planned to be fixed with EEGS
There is a separate sight for air to ground gunnery.
One for bombs
One for missiles as well.
However on the FA.2 if you fire all the sidewinder but have amraam you have to cycle all the way back to the AAM sight as it will not register the amraam or sidewinder if you finished the previous amount of missiles.
so the fixed distance sight (the one I actually use) is the one that’s broken… lovely news

It had a computer calculated lead point CCIL that was used for ATA until you could get radar lock than you got EEGS

Ahh but in ATA gun mode you get the little trailing dots.
The CCIL is better for air to air gunnery though.

Before, I guess it didnt for “balancing reasons” but I think both AV-8Ss got the same RWR as the FA2, so it should be fine now

Yeah it would. Would also be good to get the digital RWR from the Jagaur GR1B onto the GR1A as well.
