So if you look carefully you can see in the red outline is what looks like a Sea Vixen radom.
In green is a Shar 2 (but it might be a modified Shar 1)
In orange is a Wessex and in white is a GR.3.
I suspect that the Shar 2 here is a prototype upgrade for a Shar 1 and not a Shar 2
Here is the LERX
I have Jane’s Aircraft Spectacular Aircraft: Harrier, and in the book it shows a pic of the GR.3 with LERX to prototype for the Harrier 2
Nah, it’s Tangmere’s Sea Harrier XZ459.
It was in service as an FA.2. The museum just painted in its old Falklands-era paint scheme without converting the airframe back to look like an FRS.1
Do you also have performance charts for the Big wing Shar on page 198? That Shar design I know was equipped with a radar capable of guiding Fox 1s but can’t get it added as you can’t prove most of the sources legally without some “trust me bro”
go i would cry if we got that. The one thing we are missing is a decent br’ed fighter with sarh missiles. Its pretty stark going from a minimum of 12.0 for sarh missiles with britain to italy or france where you get some fun around 11.3 and even 8.3 (love my vautour at an actually usable br). I find them alot of fun and find it disappointing that we lack such jets.
I’ve been trying to convince people for quite a while that we could get paper Harriers, many of them would be difficult to add to the game and others people don’t want added. There is one Harrier from the Cold War that has some sort of BVR and it actually existed and used the prototype for the Blue Fox
